I had my follow up appointment with my surgeon yesterday. He said everything was looking good except I have a small infection in one of my incisions and the really long incision has fulid built up behind it. They took all the stiches out except the one where the infection is at and the really long one. I have to go back next Wednesday to see how things are. I kind of over did it yesterday being my first day out of the house. When I came home I was hurting pretty bad. It made me realize that the doctor was right about not going back to work. I really payed for doing to much last night.

I stopped by work yesterday to let them know how I was doing. They just kept on saying we need you to do this and that. Work has been harassing me since the day I got out of the surgery about coming back. I was going to try to go back on Monday but realzed I was in no shape to go back this week. After talking to my surgeon, Dh and how work made me feel I filled out paper work for medical leave and I will be out of work until May 16th. My surgeon wanted me off three weeks and I deceided to take the three weeks off.

While I was out I also got my blood work done for the HCG levels. Last week my level was 19 or 16 I can't remember which one. It only went down to 7 so I have to get levels checked again next week. I think this is the longest I had to wait for my levels to go down to 0. I was really hoping my levels were down to 0 so we can get the ball rolling.

I got a phone call yesterday from my ob's office. As many of you are aware we were waiting for my insurance company to approve the genetic testing. They approved it. I am so happy. Dh's blood work has been approved. I am hoping with all the blood test maybe we will fine out some answers. Since I still have HCG in my system we have to wait until next week for the blood draw.

Once my levels go down to 0 dh and I will not be trying but not preventing it either. After we get all the blood test results back then we will be TTC.

Stacey I'm glad you decided to take the full 3 weeks off. Your body really needs that time to heal. Also awesome news that your insurance approved the BT. I hope the infections heal quickly and that your beta is a zero next week.

Thank you Katie. After I handed in my medical leave paper work it felt like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

So glad you are taking the full time off.

Reading about your HCG levels is now making me think my numbers yesterday are probably left over HCG since you had your D&C about the same time I passed the baby.
