Thought I would update ya'll on the situation. Last Friday I had a doctors appointment. They did my annual exam and I should hear back about that in a week or two. They also checked me for Ureaplasma (I had that before. It can cause m/c as well as infertility). We also discussed our options. She said I can continue the Femara for up to 6 cycles in a row, then my body will become sort of immune to it. OR she would really suggest doing Ovarian Drilling. When she said that I about freaked. It sounds horribly scary and invasive to me. She said PCOS women have enlarged ovaries with lots of cysts. What they do is go in via laproscopy and use a laser to puncture many holes in the cysts which in return kind of reverse the affect of PCOS including regulating the hormones. However the downfall for this is sometimes it only last for 6-12 months. So me being the information-hungry person I am asked her success rate for having the ovarian drilling. With this the first month you have a 40-60% success rate of getting pregnant and then the success rate was 60-75% within 3 months of having it women got pregnant. So that is an option for us.
That brings me on to the next thing. DH has yet to have a SA. The last surgery I had I told him that before I would even consider another surgery he will be having the SA done. I now have the kit for him to do that at home. I just have to talk to the lab and make sure the times they are able to run it. We have 1 hour from the time he deposits his sample into the cup for me to get it to the lab. We will be doing it after I O this month.
So with all that being said I think the plan is going to be we did Femara this cycle, we are hoping to have his SA done this cycle and the results as well as the Pap test results and Ureaplasma. If everything is okay with all of that and his SA comes back good I am probably going to go ahead with the Ovarian Drilling and have another HSG & Lap done at the same time. She also said while doing that she would check to see if the Endo has gotten worse or not.
I will be doing the progesterone after ovulation as well as baby aspirin and estrodial. I did ask what the estrodial was for and she said it keeps the lining nice and thick like it should be to help support a pregnancy
That is my update and if you read all of that you deserve a cookie

It does sound scary but I've been researching it and it honestly only takes the same recovery time as a Lap does and everything. But we shall see Hoping I don't have to but willing to do whatever it takes!

Cookie for me! And yeah, they really should give that procedure a different name... I remember a lady I know freaking out because her medical chart called her something like an "elderly primagravida" (whatever the medical term is for a woman +35 having her first baby) and she hated the word "elderly" being in there, or whatever the exact word was. Come on, medical types, can't there be a little more sensitivity? I'm glad you guys have a plan of attack. I'm thinking about going to see an OBGYN soon and having some testing done, this waiting around every month thing is for the birds...

Yummy cookie! It sounds like you have an amazing doctor and a great plan! I hope the Femara does the trick, and you don't need the ovarian drilling.

Mmmmm....cookie! Thanks!
It sounds like you've got a great plan of action and that's great! They should definitely come up with a better name for the ovarian drilling.
Best of luck to you!
