So a girl that I know really helped my after my miscarriage. She is the only person that I know personally who has had a miscarriage.

But I just found out that while she was helping me through my m/c, she had just found out she was pregnant. She is due in Dec., I was due in Dec.

I know that this is so selfish, but I hate that I am going to have to watch her pregnancy progress. Not that I would EVER wish anything bad to happen, I just know that every time she talks/posts something online about it, I am going to be reminded of what was taken away from me and that I should be experiencing the same thing along with her. I am happy for her, but I am so sad for me. If that makes since.

It makes total sense. I hate to break it to you, but, you are totally normal.

Yeah that is a tough one. Completely normal for you to feel that way though.

I'm so so sorry. I've been living that nightmare myself and I've actually had it happen with several of my losses. I'm not going to lie it hurts and it's going to. *HUGS*

It makes perfect sense! I'm so sorry you need to have someone due so close to when you were. This time around I had 3 coworkers that were due 2 days-2 weeks of when I was, and it was a heartbreaking nightmare! Hopefully since she's had a loss herself she won't add saying hurtful things on top of having to watch her grow.

I was thinking about you the other day and telling my team teachers about you. I can't even imagine how you were able to go to work everyday!

Honestly, the only reason I was able to get out of bed and go to work every day is because of the kids in my class. I have an AMAZING class this year. They all have such wonderful personalities, and are so funny! I love being around them! They are all so sweet, kind, and appreciative of all I do for them, which is different than normal classes. It was as if God knew what he was going to do to me and gave me these incredible kids for me to have something to hold on to. Even though I was surrounded when I would go in the hall (because one or more of them were ALWAYS there) I tried to focus on being in my classroom with my kids and thinking of it as a safe haven. It was SO hard to get through between watching their bellies grow, knowing I should be at that point too, and hearing all my coworkers constantly gushing over them. I am so thankful for the class I have this year. I truly would have lost my mind if it weren't for them. I hope you don't have to see your friend on a daily basis!

It makes total sense. I have 2 very close friends who are at the point of finding out the gender of their babies and at the same time complaining about morning sickness and all kinds of other things. I am happy for them but it hurts so bad. It is a definite test of our strength and emotions.

I completely understand. I am sorry that you are having to go through this. My SIL and I were both due in July. I had a miscarriage and she is still pregnant. It is very hard.
