Yesterday I had light cramping, last night I kept waking up with back pain, this morning I went to the bathroom when I woke up and have started to bleed.

I am calling my DR when they open and going to ask for more blood work today so I know if I need to stop the progesrtone or not.

Oh no! I really hope it's nothing and that it is just random bleeding that can happen with pregnancy. I hope you can get in right away and get the results quickly!

I just went to the bathroom again and it has stopped. Wonder if the progestrone can cause it?
But the back pain and cramping worry me.

I'm glad it stopped, and I pray that it's just the progesterone irritating your cervix and that the cramping and back pain are just your bean snuggling in. You deserve a healthy bean!!

The progesterone can irritate your cervix and cause bleeding and cramping. You could also have a UTI from using the progesterone so you might want to go to the doctor and get checked. If you do have a UTI they can give you an antibiotic.

Lindsey it could be the progesterone! Call your doctor and see what they say. Maybe they can run blood again today??

I am putting my foot down on this one damm*t! You will have that baby!

The nurse said try not to worry the progestrone can cause spotting and cramping. She also had me do more blood work.
But with it being Friday and them closing at noon I might not get them back. But the DR on call is good about putting them on mychart quick.
I just hope he puts the results and not just they are ok or low still.

It was really hard to tell if it was brown or red or how heavy the spotting was because it was all mixed with the suppository from last night.

Thinking of your Lindsy! Progesterone can cause spotting, so just try to relax. I hope your Dr gets your results back to you quickly!

Even when not pregnant I have brownish and sometimes pink/reddish and my doctor said it's from the progesterone. She also said that when it irritates your cervix it can cause the cramping. But I also got a UTI from it so be careful.

Lindsey I hope its just from the progesterone. I know I would have bleeding and cramping from it just because my cervix is so sensitive. I have never done progesterone but I know my cervix if that makes sense. Let us know how the blood work goes. Praying for you.

I dont think I have a UTI becaue the cramping is almost like dull period cramps and its in my belly not down there. When I had a UTI when I was younger I remember that hurting and crying when I pee. But I will keep an eye on it because I did hear they can cause UTI and bad yeast infections.

Thanks ladies I am sorry for bombing you all with my posts, I just dont know really who else to turn to... that I trust more than you.

Can you rely on your BBT when you are pregnant? I had a temp drop this morning, does it mean anything?

Please don't feel bad for posting on here. We are here for you. I hope it's just the
progesterone causing the cramping spotting. Please keep us posted. Thinking of you.

Thinking of you Lindsey...I would make very clear (i.e. pitch a bit of a fit) that they have been terrible with getting results back to you, and that you need these results back before they close...I really hope that it is nothing...you are so strong!

Well they are closed for the day already.
I asked the lady at the lab what the fastest they can get them back and she said maybe by 3:00 today and if my DR put a rush on it. The progestrone has to be sent off I guess.
I also asked if I could get the results myself and they said no I have to get it from the DR who ordred them.

My DR office doesnt use a on site lab for any blood work you have to go to a blood lab.

Last weekend I had my blood work done on Saturday and Sunday I had a note about them in my chart online... did not say what they were just that there were low and I need to repeat. So I hope this time they put what the #'s are.

As for being strong... what other choice do I have?

I sure hope it's the progesterone! I have no experience with it, but from what the others say it seems like that could be the cause.

I wanted to add that with this pregnancy for me, I had BAD cramping in my back and in my lower abs for weeks!! I mean the kind of cramping that takes your breath away. The back pain was almost equivalent to back spasms. So, it could also be pregnancy related.

How frustrating! I would consider this a high priority and they should get you those results right away. It will only make things worse if you are stressed out all weekend. What if you go to the ER? Tell them you're cramping and have had bleeding. They can get you the results in less than an hour and at least could give you some peace of mind.
I also wanted to add to not take your temp. From what I've heard, your temp can go totally batty while you are pregnant so the temps aren't going to tell you anything. All it will do is cause you more anxiety.

This pain is nothing like that. I have a bad back and did a senior photo shoot yesterday and we were jumping in and out of the car downtown so I might have done something to it. My whole body super stiff today so not sure what thats all about.
The cramping in my belly comes and goes and is almost always in a different spot. I dont get A/F cramps so I dont have that to compaire it to I am just guessing.
I have not had anymore spotting and I even did my morning progestrone a couple hours ago. But spotting stopping and starting and being brown is no comfort to me because thats how both of my natural miscarriages started I spotted on and off for a week before both.

The ER is $150 co pay and then I have to pay 30% of the bill. so I can wait a day or 2 because if the levels are dropping what can they do at this point?

Ok packing the thermomitor away.
