Hi i havent posted here before but Im hoping I can get some advice here.
Im 4 weeks pregnant. I got pregnant on my first cycle of clomid and I was so excited but nervous the whole time. I havent even been in to see a dr. yet for the pregnancy.
On friday night I had a little light tan spotting. Saturday it continued all day with low back cramps and I got a slight fever of 99.5 I called the Dr. on call where I was going for TTC and she said to just rest and wait until monday to call the office if things were the same. Ive been laying down since then. The cramps are gone, but the spotting is a dark brown now. I checked in the bathroom and my cervix is low and open.
So my question is what should I do. Is there anything that would help at this point or is the loss inevitable? I thought if I was really going to miscarry I would have had real bleeding by now? I dont want to waste money to go to the ER though if there is nothing to be done. And on the other hand I dont want to stay on this couch all day if thats not gonna help and is only slowing down the process.
I dont know, Im just confused and i have no idea what to expect or what I should do.
Thanks for any help.

That's how my bleeding was with my loss. Then again, it may not be a loss. I would wait until your doctor confirms it.

I would call your doctor. Also, please update the title of your post to include pregnancy.

I would call the doctor first thing tomorrow. If the bleeding gets heavier then I would go to the ER.

m/c don't always start with real bleeding, but I would keep in contact with your doc and take it easy. I've always been told that if it is going to happen, it is going to happen . . . hope everything turns out okay.

It could be many different things. Your progesterone could be low, your cervix can be irritated or you could have unexplainable spotting. Please go to the doctor. Update us when you can.

I hope all goes well and that the spotting might have been something else that irritated your cervix. KUP.
