I just read the original post and I believe your daughter had a D&C right? I suspect it wasn't a complete D&C and there must still be tissue left over that is causing that small rise. I am very surprised the doctor didn't order an ultrasound. I would demand one, to see whether there is still tissue because if it remains there and is not expelled it could lead to infection that could jeapordize her future fertility and could make her very very sick. Not trying to scare you but yes definitely get an ultrasound. I had a D&C too and it wasn't complete. It's one of the most common procedures and STILL they manage to mess these up once in a while.
If there is still tissue the docs will recommend either misorostol/cytotec or another D&C. Is she bleeding at all?
If your daughter develops a fever or black discharge pls go to the doctor or emergency.
I really hope everything will be alright!! (((HUGS)))
ps that ultrasound should be an internal (vaginal) ultrasound. The doctor should know that but you never know...
