What was your cycle like after miscarriage?

I'm wondering cause this time around it took me about 8 weeks to get my period. (today yay!!!!) My post O temps were terrible! Up, down up down, and never got really high. I had a short luteal phase of 11 days when it's normally 14. I'm guessing because progesterone levels were low. What do you all think? What was your experiences? And what happened on your cycle after your first period after your miscarriage?? Thanks!!

I'm finally on my first cycle post miscarriage in March. This AF was for 9 DAYS. I pretty much knew that it was to be expected. I however am not temping this first time around just because I know my body is pretty much whacked out right now. LOL

I'll update with how many days this cycles turns out to be. With my last miscarriage I remember my cycles being as long as 40 days and as short as 15 days (seriously). I had to get back on the pill just to get my body onto a regular cycle.

My first cycle after most of my losses was crazy. After my first loss they ended up giving me medicine to bring on AF because my body just basically shut down and didn't want to do anything. Sometimes your body can jump right back to normal and sometimes it takes months. I know my cycles are completely different since my first loss and that's now my new "normal" *hugs*

My first few cycles after loss were completely abnormal. I would have horrible cramping where I don't normally cramp, The flow days were longer and heavier, cycles a few days longer.

Eventually it all evened out and my body clicked into a "new normal". Where for years my cycle was 21 days I went to 24-25 days and my flow lighter.

I'm on my 5 cycle since my loss and they have been pretty bad. Awful cramps,heavier, and longer. My first two cycles were 28 and then 40 days, and now they are my normal 31 days. I hope yours gets back to "normal" soon!
