Hi Ladies,
Some of you may remember my story, as I know it spread around JM quite a bit. My beautiful little girl, Kaiya Rae, was born June 17th, 2010. She was perfect and healthy and wonderful. One sad November day, Kaiya's heart stopped suddenly during an afternoon nap at the baby sitter. She died on November 17th, 2010; her 5 month birthday. It has been almost 6 months since we said goodbye. She will turn one in a month. DH and I are getting ready to try for number 2. I officially stopped taking the pill this month and we will officially TTC after my next AF. I am so very excited and cannot wait to be an Earth mommy again, but as you all know this also carries so many anxieties and fears with it too. I know my experience is different from most of you ladies, but may I join this board?

Your story is heartbreaking. I'm so sorry for your loss. I couldn't imagine going through that kind of loss. I think we would all love to have more friends here.

I am so sorry about the loss of your precious Kaiya. I have been following your story since she passed. My heart breaks for you. At the risk of sounding like a nut job I want you to know that I have been praying for you and for little Ryder's mommy (and many other mommies on JM) each day. I know how badly it hurts to lose babies that I have never met. I can't even imagine how devastating it must be to lose a baby that I carried, delivered, and watched grow. Since I couldn't take that pain away (which is what I wish I could do for all of the ladies here, and anyone who has lost a child) I figured praying for peace and healing for you both was the least I could do. The ladies here are so amazing. I hope you are able to find some comfort here. I also hope you get your bfp quickly!

I can't even begin to imagine what you have been through, miscarriage is hard enough. I pray that you conceive again quickly.

Andrea welcome to TTCAL, I'm so sorry about Kaiya  that is so heartbreaking momma. You sound like you're doing very well emotionally and must have healed allot over the months... it's good to know you're so strong and have made it to try again for baby 2

Thank you so much. I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers more than you know. Have you heard from Ryder's mommy? I remember, little Ryder went to Heaven shortly after my Kaiya. I tried to reach out to his mommy by posting in her playroom to see if they were doing anything special for her and telling them to send her my information if she wanted to talk to me, but I never heard anything... I hope she has the kind of amazing support that I had!

Welcome to the board! I'm Shasta, 26. I've had 2 miscarriages. Starting TTC in a few months when DH gets home from Afghanistan.

I am so very very sorry and heart broken to hear of your loss. My dear friend lost her baby girl to SIDS almost 18 years ago, and I still think of her all of the time. I'm so glad to hear that you feel supported because that support is so important. Best wishes on your journey.

i remember your story from when it happened...i cant even imagine...i think it is cliche to say that i am so sorry for your loss, but of course, i am...kaiya was so beautiful...was looking at your journal and her garden is beautiful as well...
i hope that your stay here is short, and i hope that we can share good news from you soon...

You're very welcome! I haven't seen anything from her since Ryder passed. I'm glad you had a wonderful support system, and I hope she does too.
