Wednesday wakeup thread made me think of this!
What habits would you like to give up or NEED to give up as your TTC?!

I have too many!! Having a heck of a time quitting them though!

* I'm a smoker!! down to a 1/2 a pack opposed to whole pack though!

* My diet is horrible! Some days I eat some days I dont! I want to go gluten free though!

* I take prescription pain medication.. (Percoset and Vicodin) I was in car accident the month I found I out I was pregnant. December 2009. Trying to go cold turkey. Easier said than done. Todays been a bad day pain wise. I have to take them in order to get through the day and be able to function! I am seeing a chiropractor recently and starting to see improvement! So hoping to wean off them completely!

* I drink at least 2 large iced coffees from Tim Horton's a day! Again, cant function without! I do drink a ton of water though! Lol This is the one thing I DONT think i can give up!! LOL

hmm...I quit smoking when I got PG with DD, I was so sick I couldn't even take a drag without vomiting..lol

I don't drink coffee, I do usually have 1 or 2 cans of diet coke a day, I would probably just cut it down to 1.
And I would have to hand over litter box duty to DH...

Once I go into full out TTC mode, I cut out all the stuff that can possible cause miscarriages- alcohol, caffeine ect... Luckily even now I don't drink that much caffeine so it's not hard to give up.

I have TONS of bad habits. First of all when nervous, I talk WAY too much. I cannot shut up, no matter how hard I try! I bite my knuckles--another form of my anxiety. I can be mean when someone ticks me off-it is definately in my blood, just look at my sister and father. I go from 0 to crazy in 3 seconds flat. Lol. I know there are more too, but we'd be here all day.

Drinking alcohol is my worst habit and TTCAL has made it 10x worse... when AF arrives I usually drink a bottle of wine that night.

The only really bad habit I have is sugar consumption...I havent had any sugar since the day after my miscarriage...I wish my body was as healthy as I try to make it...

I don't smoke and don't drink alcohol. What I most would like to stop doing is picking at my skin to make it bleed and have red spots all over my foremarms and in my face. I tend to have a dry skin so that tends to itch. I usually put lotion there. I ran out of my palmer's lotion and it worked really well. But I think I do this when I am more nervous or not at ease with something. My DH is after me alot on this. I hope I can break that habit as I feel I look like I have gotten alot of insect bites and scratch. I feel silly and embarrased to say it is me not bug bites.

I have a wicked coffee habit. I've been trying to cut down, but it has been so hard. If I get a bfp, I'll immediately switch to organic decaf. I should just do it now, I know.

I was a smoker for 15 years and quit before my first son was conceived. Around October of last year I started have one everyonce in a while when I was out for drinks with friends. By February I was having about 4 a week, not bad, but not great. The week before I found out I was pregnant, I was "sneaking" a cigarette and felt so icky. It was my first clue I was pg. I still wonder if the cigarrettes were a part of the reason for my m/c. I read it increases the risk by a pretty big percentage. I haven't had one since that day. Quitting 8 years ago was the hardest, and I don't ever want to be in that spot again.

Fast food is my biggest. I don't have time to cook or feel good enough to cook. I feel really bad cause I feed it to my 3rd old too .
I'm also a diet dew drinker but cut way back to only one a day.
I quit smoking 4 and a half years ago after my first miscarriage.

I wish I could make TTC enough to just give all this up no problem! Its so much harder than it sounds though!! GRRR!!

Hmm well.. I drink 1 large redbull a day right now.. I have caffiene issues... I get pretty bad migranes and my OB told me when I was PG with DD2 that when I got a migrane I could drink 1 small redbull with my migrane meds.. probably because I rarely get them when PG.. But when we start a cycle I do drop down to redbulls as needed when I have a migrane..... Hmmmm, when I get stressed I bite my nails.... When I am TTC I do still drink a pop a day (again caffiene issues)
I quit smoking, so thats an old habit .. I think one fo the worst is when I find out that a cycle did not work.. I tend to relive my loss and get really depressed for like 2 days.. I still take care of my family but I tend to put keep poor hubby at arms legnth...
Other then that I'm a very well adjusted, fun loving gal , haha
