T&P for family in Joplin, MO please!

DH's cousin and wife and their baby are there. Their house is LEVELED. They are safe and in a hotel now. They were trapped in the basement for a while. She is a diabetic and last I heard they are "working on getting her insulin supplies" but the local pharmacies are leveled too.

Many thoughts & prayers for them and everyone affected by that storm. My SIL has loved ones out there too and luckily all of them are safe. The footage on the news is terrifying and heartbreaking. So much devastation.

Thank you everyone. Survivors are lucky to be alive. Footage on the tv I am sure can't do it justice, and it looks just awful. A city full of twigs...most buildings and houses are not even recognizable. We continue to pray for our loved ones and all the families stuck there.

They were able to get a couple things from the house, but not much at all. There are 2 first floor walls standing, the second floor is non exsistent. In the video our cousin took she walks up the stairs and all the sudden they stop and you see sky. The chimney is laying on their mattress, the rest of the bedroom and up stairs in just rubble. They found a house near by to rent, but can't turn on utilities and also can't buy a car because they have no ID, as they didn't have wallets/purse in the basement with them when the storm hit. Our church here in Ohio is sending them $500 to help with expenses and purchasing new clothes and toys for the little one and things like that. I didn't ask them for this, I simply posted about what happened and asking for prayers in my facebook status and received an email that church is donating this money. We have angels on Earth for friends. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.
