Hey guys, I don't know if anyone can really answer this but I thought I would ask you guys. I had my M/C about 3 1/2 weeks ago and I'm fairly certain I have not ovulated yet cause I have been temping. Anyway, the bleeding had pretty much stopped about a week ago but I started bleeding again on thurs night, the same day my hcg level was 11. The bleeding was dark red but pretty light, then fri-sat it was just brown spotting. Can I consider this my period? I have never had a period without ovulating (at least that I know of since I have been tracking my cycles). Would my period be really light because I didn't ovulate? I really want to get back to normal so we can try again. It is so discouraging not knowing what is going on with my body.

I honestly don't know. You could still be passing tissue from the miscarriage maybe? I would ask your OB/GYN.

I'm in almost exactly the same boat. I miscarried the Thursday before Mother's Day, and started spotting again a few days ago. It has been super light but steady, so I am assuming it is my first AF, but like you, I'm thinking maybe I didn't ovulate. From what I've read, it is pretty normal for your first cycle to be weird. I posted almost this exactly same question in the pregnancy loss forum... you might head over there to see what the responses were.

It might be AF but it also still could be left over from your pregnancy. I cannot remember if you had a D&C or not but our bodies can be all over the place after a loss. HUGS.

So, AF started Thursday for me, and was super light until late tonight, and is now what I would consider "normal" flow for me... it just took longer to hit the heavy flow than normal for my AF's. Just thought I'd update... maybe the same thing will happen to you.
