Does your job get busier in the summer or slower? With the industry I am in the summer is always much busier. I have less JM time as my list of things grows and I have to travel more.

The college kids leave for the summer and people like to do their workouts outside during the summer so it usually gets slower. Although I am a lot busier trying to get my Etsy shop open.

I work at a doctors office so it's busiest during flu season, but we are getting alot more calls for things like ticks, poison ivy, allergies, etc. now.

My work is the same all year long. It slows a bit at Christmas time because we're forbidden from launching any major web changes during that time.

Do you all close up between Christmas and New Years? When I worked in the field before this, we closed during this time - it was awesome!!

We are having a slow time but I am sure it will pick up with a new revamped software launch in the fall.

My job in my building slows in the summer since I'm a teacher, but my work at home increases. This summer I will be rewriting Math, Language Arts, and Science curriculum. I will also be learning to integrate 3 brand new series (one in each subject) to that curriculum. It's going to take forever and be a major PITA! This time of year really flares my aggravation at those who feel that teachers don't work outside of the normal 8am-3pm, September to June. The only thing that I completely have off from is my paycheck. No pay in the summer regardless of how much I do at home. I do, however, enjoy the time with my babies!

Generally speaking, my job gets busier in the summer, but right now things are slow because of the economy. I work at an architecture firm and our clientele is mostly wealthy people who want to build a summer home (we are on the coast of Maine). Unfortunately, no one is building lately so things have died down a ton. We are hoping that changes soon.

No, we're still open it's just slower. Apparently, we do most of our sales (software company) at the end of the fourth quarter, so they don't want us posting anything that could bring down the website. Having the time off would be awesome though.

I wish I could say something about work, but I am finally a stay at home mom after 11 years of non stop working. I guess I get busier though seeing how the kids are now home 24/7 and my to-do list gets a lot larger. Plus I get no break or alone time.

On the other hand, before I moved here I worked for the county back in Las Vegas. I actually worked at a huge gun range and managed one of the centers. Even in the heat, it was busy during the summer.
