Hcg & A/F

Can you get A/F and still have HCG in your system???
Or am I just not done bleeding?
I had really light bleeding the end of last week and then Sunday until this morning nothing not even spotting. I woke up this morning and its full blown and looks like A/F.
I am so confused am I just going to keep stopping and starting or can this be A/F???? How do you know if its A/F or not?

I just want this to be done.

Usually AF will not come unless your HCG is below 15. The only thing I can tell you is they can do a BT to see if it is AF or not. I wish I could give you more info. HUGS.

I have heard of people starting AF pretty soon after their bleeding stops. For me, I bled for 3 weeks and then waited another 4 weeks for AF. Some people start AF exactly 4 weeks after their loss.

Maybe you could call your doc and just ask if its normal for your circumstances?

The problem is I did not have a miscarriage it was an ectopic... and I did not need surgery because the shot was successful and that is so rare that there is no "normal"

I talked to the DR last week and he said bleeding this long is to be expected but not sure about period or not.

After all my miscarriages I never got A/F until 6 weeks after and bleeding never went over 14 days.

My first AF came while my HCG was at 7. I suppose you can say that is pretty much negative.

I started bleeding again, it was light though, not like a full blown AF when my hcg was 11. I thought it was a weird AF but I had been temping, and I guess it was ovulation instead because my temps jumped up to post O temps right after the bleeding and stayed there for 2 weeks, now they are coming down and I am waiting for AF. Hopefully you get back to normal soon.

Well, I'd guess you were right about the creamy stuff on the tampon being ovulation, and this being AF if your numbers had gotten pretty low. That's good you're riding this one out before starting to TTC again. Hopefully it will give your body the chance to get itself back to normal!
