I have an almost 2 year old son. We have been trying for the last year to get pregnant. I had a miscarriage after 2 months. Since then I have had 3 more early losses. I wouldn't have even known I was pregnant if I wasn't testing. Each time I get a positive at about 11 or 12 dpo. Then I get a positive the next day and the next day as well (3 positive tests, yes I test a lot). But by the 3rd day it is getting lighter. Then I start to bleed in the next couple of days.

Anyone have a similar experience or any ideas what could be causing this? I have an appt. with the specialist, but it is not until August. Just wanted to get some ideas in the mean time....so I can read about possible causes.

Bottom line, I am getting pregnant, but it is not sticking. I had one baby with no problems, so this seems strange to me.

I am so sorry for your losses! I wish I could give some insight but I think there could be any number of possible reasons. It's too bad you can't get in to see the specialist until August. Can your regular OB run some tests? What has he/she said about it?

Hugs I am sorry for all your losses. And there are so many different things it could be. I know my OB has tested me for a many of different things. I would ask your OB if they could check your progesterone level after you O (7dpo) and if it's not high enough put you on supplements.

I'm so very sorry for your losses.
Testing may reveal a hormonal issue that can be fixed with meds. It may be worthwhile to try some alternative remedies such as looking at foods, supplements, or acupuncture to shift your body's hormone balance.
Either way, I hope you get answers quickly! Best wishes.

I had the exact same thing when TTC#2. I would get pregnant ever couple of cycles but couldn't get them to stick for the life of me. Some would "stick" longer than others due to using progesterone supplements which, in my case, really only seemed to delay the bleeding. I managed to stay pregnant with my last pregnancy using Welcome Womb. I don't know if it was the herbs or just finally my time to have a sticky pregnancy but whenever I hear similar stories to mine I have to share my experience. Feel free to check out my blog (here) or in my siggy. There is a page that describes my history in a bit more detail along with more info about the herbs.

I am so sorry for your losses. It is a hard road to travel. (((hugs)))

Thanks ladies for all the responses! Sorry for my delayed response! I am on the wait list to see the ob earlier. She is just really booked apparently. I did some reading and the progesterone thing seems to most likely match what is happening to me. It seems really strange now that my first happened so easily....

Your progesterone level can change very easily. There are so many reasons it can change. It's always good to check with your OB and they should be able to give you more information
