Ok, so my last 2 blood tests with the RE showed extremely low progesterone after O. First one on day 22 of cycle was 6. This one on day 22 of this cycle was 9. I know I have decent levels in everything else, as this was the only thing very concerning to my doctor. I even know that, per the u/s, that I had follies both times that ovulated. The first one even measured a good 22. So WTH???

I am beginning to think that it was my fault that we lost the pregnancy last year, and that maybe it is more me than DH that we cannot get pregnant.... I have no idea how long it has been this low. I know that we are doing IVF, but maybe if I had better progesterone we wouldn't have needed to. Why would my progesterone be so low???

Excuse my bad attitude. I am just feeling extremely low right now and I have no idea why.

I would think given what I know of your situation it was a little bit of both parties. I don't think its anyone's "fault". Sorry your levels are so low. I don't know much about progestrone so I can't help there. But I will offer lots of and and stalk you .

I myself have low progesterone. I use suppositories after ovulation. Some women bodies just don't produce enough to support a pregnancy but with using the suppositories can be the world of difference. It's not that it's your "fault"... there is nothing you can do to fix it (that I'm aware of) other than the suppositories or pills. ((HUGS)) stay positive hun.

I am just curious as to when this all happened, you know? I have my 2 children, so I did support 2 pregnancies. Is this something that can change all of the sudden?

Thanks Katie. I don't know why something that can be fixed made me so depressed all of the sudden. I just want to start the whole process and get it over with. I am just so scared that this is something that can affect the whole process, even with supplements. Bleh....

It seems like there are a lot of things that can affect your progesterone.

Hmmmm... I read that article, and it seems that stress can cause it. I have tons of that. It also says that a symptom is anxiety. Lord knows I have that. I had been feeling so good this past month too. Maybe that is why it is slowly going up? Bleh bleh bleh.

Thank you ladies for dealing with my crazy.

I am sorry
I dont know to much about progestrone. I know mine at like CD 24 was 12 when I was not pregnant and then last month it was as low as 5.2 with that ectopic I had.
But other than that I know nothing about what it should be.
Just wanted to give you support.

I have low progesterone and take meds when I get a BFP. Although I think I am going to change that and start taking them after I O. I agree with Katie it's not your fault.
