Hi, I have posted here before but it's been a long time. I have a very close friend who has had 2 losses.
I talked to my friend today and she is going in tomorrow... to find out whether she has an ectopic or a possibly viable pregnancy. I just wanted to find a caring group of people who could join me in sending some positive thoughts or heavy duty prayers her way! I am on edge waiting to hear tomorrow after her appt. I care more about this than anything for myself. She is such a good person and like you, deserves her chance!!
Please join me in t&p if you can and I will send some your way too!
Amanda

I will pray for her. I have a close friend who had two ectopics before her son was born. I hope the third time is a charm for your friend as well!

Update!!! This AM they found her HCG levels were still going up so they scheduled her for a u/s. I just spoke to her and she was in the waiting area. They just called her back.
Waiting...
She was so exhausted that she had to go home between appts. to sleep- I hope that is a good healthy sign and not one that could represent anything bad. If it is a good result though she is still going to need the t&p to keep it sticky and healthy. I will let you know and THANKS!!!
UPDATE 2: It does not look good. The HCG levels were not high enough for what they would expect. They could not tell if it was a tubal (I don't know how they can tell/not tell) but the dr. said based on the blood level it looked like it would "most likely" not end in a viable pregnancy.

My poor friend. She said if she was offered a multimillion dollar lottery winning she would give it up just to have one healthy baby. I hate for her to go through this again. How she must feel going through this for a 3rd time. It's so sad and I know she feels helpless!
Thank you for the t&p! I don't think there is any solution but I just want her to be happy.

Sounds like my 3rd pregnancy. My HCG was slow to rise and kinda just everywhere so they assumed ectopic. But it was too early to see on a ultra sound.
I'm sorry for your friend. It's for sure so hard to go through.

I agree with Missy, if your friend is able, she should stop by one (or more) of the boards here. I fell in love with JM a long time ago -- maybe she can, too? I'm so sorry to hear about the bad news
