So I bought the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I LOVE it by the way. I have started doing even more to take control lol. It seems its working. My temps are getting better and better each month. More like what they should be also all my horrible symptoms I was having have stopped. I think this is a good sign but I hate that I can't TTC.

I wanted to share though that the Taking Charge of Your Fertility book is great!

I love that book. When I first started TTC, it was so helpful. The only thing I knew about my cycle was that it was 28 days. I found out after I started charting that I ovulate on day 18-20. It helped me get a BFP pretty quickly. Too bad it didn't stick . but I love knowing when I O and when AF is about to show.

Well I was already taking vitamins and such but I changed to vitamins that have things that will help my cm and cycle.

I was having very dark (black or brown) blood at the end of my cycle (the book calls it postmenstrual brown bleeding), which from reading the book its says the cause is, "an irregular shedding of the endometrium and small fragments of endometrial tissue, the result of suboptimal luteal function in the prior cycle."

It then goes on to say how to treat it. The book suggest to take 100 to 800mg a day of B6. I was already taking 100mg since starting TTC 4 months ago.

I still had the brown bleeding this cycle but it was normally black this cycle it was brown and much less of it.

I have also started taking baby aspirin daily.

My multivitamin that I take has green tea extract in it, grape seed extract, and 80mg of B6 in it. I also take EPO (just tell I O if TTC) and fish oil everyday.
I am taking The Vitamin Shoppe Ultimates Womans vitamins. I highly recommend it!

I plan to stop drinking coffee. I am having a hard time with that. I also plan to start exercising again. When we do TTC again I will also take Mucinex 600mg 4 days before I expect to O until 2 days after a thermal shift in my temps (Ovulation).

I had a tubal reversal so I feel my AF was messed up due to my tubes being tied. I think it tried to throw my body into a very early menopause.

Before my surgery I was having clots during AF and very bad cramps and PMS as well. All that is going away.

I am no doctor of course!! I already knew a lot of what this book tells but its helping me know my body even more if that makes since.

I'm glad you found such a helpful resource. I didn't realize it had stuff like that in it, I only thought it was about fertility signs and timing intercourse appropriately depending on whether you were trying to get pregnant or prevent it.
