Yes, I'm still here. Many of you don't remember me. After 2 + yrs of TTCAL, some have moved on and sadly, others have joined.
DH has been very very sick and has only been home from the hospital for 3 days now. He has Crohn's disease and only has 1/3 of his large intestine. He caught an infection in his bowel and his white blood cell count was over 100,000!!!
So not only have I been dealing with TTC, loss of work, financial problems, no insurance, DH being sick..blah, blah, blah...etc... I try to keep up here only if I lurk and read.
Many of you are my FB friends and we still chat regularly, others (especially the new gals) may not know me from Eve.
DH and I lost our son, Roman, at a 30 week term birth. He was born with spinal meningitis, cerebral palsy, and hydrocephalus. He lived for 5 days and 14 hours before he went to live with Heavenly Father. July 1, 2008 - July 6, 2008 are my son's dates. We have no other children, losses or "earth" babies.
We do have 5 cats and 2 dogs. Just normal cats and dogs...nothing "special" about them
I just wanted to pop in and say Hi and that I'm still around. Trying to keep positive as I 'O' tomorrow...hopefully hubby has enough energy to DTD and we might catch that eggie. I need some good news soon!

I don't know if you would consider me a newbie or an oldie, but I have been here since Oct. of last year. I cannot believe it has already been 8 months.

My father has Chrones and they think I have it as well. My last insurance carrier refused to do additional testing when my biopsy came up inconclusive. He has had a total of 7 intestinal surgeries and also only has a small portion of his GI track. It is a horrible disease, and a scary and sickening one. I am sorry that he has to go through it as well. I’d honestly rather break a bone than be sick constantly to my stomach. I hope he starts to feel better soon.
