After D & C

Hi Ladies,

Question: I had my D & C about three or four weeks ago. I am experiencing some discomfort like I did when I was miscarrying. Lower weighted back and stomach pain. My vijja is uncomfortable like a yeast infection. Intercourse was painful last night. I am uncomfortable and emotional.

I thought I was ovulating, as I felt the pain yesterday. I don't know and I have to wait until Monday when my Dr. is open again.

Any thoughts? Thanks

It could be that your Oing or that AF is on her way. It's really hard to tell. If you feel like something is wrong though I would really sugguest going to the ER to get checked out. Rather be safe than sorry. ((HUGS)) Keep us posted!

For the first 2 cycles after my D&C I had so much pain... the cramping was so bad I almost went to the ER. I guess it was my body adjusting after.

My body has been feeling strange and uncomfortable too. Not sure what to tell you, but can't hurt to at least call and ask. Good luck and I hope you get some answers.

If you continue having pain and feel like something is wrong please go to your doctor. After my first D&C I ended up getting a bad infection and ended up in the hospital for couple of days.

I am feeling the same way and my D & C was just a few weeks ago also. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. So hopefully I will get some answers.

Because you say it feels like a yeast infection I would definitely get checked out ASAP, it could be an infection. It also could just be AF. My first AF was also more uncomfortable too.

Hopefully it ends up not being severe but just to throw this as a possibility... after the D&C there could be some left over tissue?

I can't relate to the intercourse part because I wasn't able to (ahem, didn't want to

), but I had the same pain and it ended up being a yeast infection and an uterine infection. Strong antibiotics and creams cleared everything up in about a week. T&P's to you!

Hi Ladies.

Thanks for your support. I called my Dr. yesterday and told him my symptoms and he said it was a yeast infection and prescribed cream. I also took an ovulation test Friday and yesterday and I believe I ovulated prob Thursday as Friday I had a slight line and yesterday, no line.

I'm hoping no UTI is involved.
