So a friend of mine has been pushing me to start posting here, I usually post in the TTC w/ PCOS.
Anyway, I am Ami, 32 yrs old, married to Mike since June 1999. We ttc'ed our first for 5.5 years. Then we ttc'ed #2 for a year. Then we were sort of ttc sort of ntnp for just over a year when I ended up pg again.
We have been ttc for a year since my loss, and I am just feeling so deflated. TTC has always been a challenge. Part of me wants to be done, but a big part of me, just doesn't want to let go.
It is sooooooo hard listening to the women in another play group tell me now that we are moved with "less stress" it will happen for us, yet they get pg just by sharing the same soap. Some of them have had 2 babies since we all had our babies nearly 3 years ago.
I'm tired of putting on a happy face, I was supposed to put on a happy face when I lost my baby, now I can't make another baby and I am just suppose to smile and take my lumps.
Well anyway, I hope to get to know you all and that we all have our sticky beans very soon!

Ami, 1st of all, welcome to our great family.
Second, you don't have to put on a happy face here, ever. TTC is hard enough, Add PCOS and TTCAL, and it's a wonder you have kept any sanity. So, come on here and "whine" if you need to, although, I don't think any one of us on here will think you are whining....we get it...and Vent away girl.

Definately do not feel out of place for whining here. Any loss is hard, and it is even harder when you just cannot get pregnant. Believe me I know.
So anyway, welcome to the boards. TTCAL is what really got me into the boards. Before here, it was occassionaly posting in TTC 1 year +. The ladies all know the pain of loss and pregnancy, so it is nice to have someone know how you feel. Someone who can relate. I hope you get that rainbow baby soon.

Ami I remember you from PL . I am so sorry that you have not had your rainbow baby. TTCAL is so hard. I am sorry that people expect you to put on a happy face. You don't have to pretend to be anything here. THis is a wonderfully supportive group. Welcome and good luck

Hi Ami These ladies are wonderful. I'm so sorry this has been such a long process for you. I totally understand how frustrating it can be to look at other's situations in your PR... we're having a baby boom in the Aug. 08 PR right now, and it makes me all the more frustrated about my recent loss. I hope you get happy news soon!

Welcome Ami, Sorry for you loss. The ladies on this board are amazing. I don't know how I would have made it through the last year without the ladies on this board. . I have PCOS so I know what you are going through. Dh and I have been ttc for couple of years. We are having a problem getting pg and staying pg. We have had 3 losses. I am coming up on a year of my first loss and I sit here without my rainbow baby. Please know you don't have to put on a happy face in here. Please feel free to be yourself and vent away.

Welcome Ami! I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm also sorry you're having difficulties getting pregnant. We've been trying just shy of 1 year to conceive take home baby #3. It's extremely frustrating, especially when others are getting pregnant with no problem and are telling you to just relax and it will happen. That just adds insult to injury. No one here will think you're whining. Vent away! The ladies here are amazing, and I hope you're able to find some comfort here!

Hi and welcome!! I am so sorry for your loss. It's such a hard thing to go through and definitely frustrating when some people seem to get and stay pregnant so easily. Definitely feel free to vent here. We all understand what you are going through. I really hope that you get a BFP soon!
