OPK vs HPT?????

Ok so I know this question has probably been asked a thousand times...lol

So I ovulated on June 12th of this month....
Well around the 16th and 17th which would be 4 and 5dpo....I took another ovulation test and it was VERYYYY dark....plus since than I have been very nauseated and vomiting....the n/v is normal for me on days 4 and 5dpo (I think it has something to do with the progesterone)

Well ever since than I have been very dark OPK almost positive (getting darker everyday instead of lighter and I have been sick EVERYDAY)....
Today I am 10dpo and I got a negative on a HPT..

I am so confused my lines never get darker on my OPK this close to my period and I have been soooo sick but my HPT is negative.... Do you think it could just be tooooo early for a positive on a HPT!!!!

At 4-5 dpo and OPK would not be positive even if you were pregnant because you wouldn't be producing a hormone yet because the baby doesn't implant until 6-10dpo. Can you post pictures of your OPK? It could be that your getting ready to ovulate.

Ditto with what Katie said. When I got my bfp, it wasn't until about 18dpo before the opk worked as an hpt.

I ovulated already on the 12th....
But on around 4dpo to 5dpo I stated feeling AF cramps for about 2 hours....It was so bad I thought I was about to have another period???

idk I am confused....the only thing I am positive about is that I have never done this much vomiting unless I am pregnant and I never get dark lines on my OPK after I have already ovulated...

Can you post pictures of your OPK's? And sometimes you O more than one egg days after the first one. But OPK's would not be testing positive yet even if you are pregnant because HCG would not be in your system yet.

I thew them all out because I have been going crazy analyzing the lines....this morning the one I took was almost positive....so who knows maybe I am about to ovulate again although my period is due i n 4 days...

?????
