When you have had a blighted ovum to tell you "at least you can take some comfort in knowing there was never a baby there"  are you kidding me!!!!! For 11 weeks there was a baby in my heart and head, until I saw that empty sac, there was a baby!! why do you think that is okay to say?? It makes me so mad and upset when I hear that

I would slap them, too. There was a baby in there, and just because baby went to heaven extremely early doesn't mean the baby didn't exist. Do they honestly think the sac materialized from nothing??

There WAS a baby! It just didn't live long because it couldn't develop properly. I'm sorry that you have been treated this way... I had a blighted ovum this year too. I'm so sorry for your loss!

uggh wish I can slap them silly for you. My last m/c was a blighted ovum and the ER doc was very sweet and telling me it doesn't mean there wasn't a baby there.. it was there but was gone too early to show on the u/s. I'm sorry ppl are so thoughtless to you!

Im so sorry you have gotten reactions like this.......ppl need to be more educated on BO's. Anytime an egg and sperm meet, they make a baby! Cant have a sac without an egg and sperm meeting......I also had a BO, about 13yrs ago that went to 14wks, and never once did I feel like it was not a baby, nor did my husband or family......this is just wrong! Im so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry that people are so thoughtless. People should walk a mile in your shoes and then tell us how it feels. Unless you have been through the pain of a mc you can never understand the hurt and pain that a mother feels. I am so sorry for your loss.

Insensitive comments like that only comes from people that try to find a way to be comforting but it really back fires. I wish those ppl would just listen and give you a hug and say I'm sorry and nothing more or nothing at all. Sorry about the ignorant ppl.

OMFG please slap said person immediately Of course there was a baby there, it just didn't have the chance to grow. I'm sorry sweetie. People suck sometimes.
