Dh totally shocked me on Sunday. We were sitting by a fire relaxing and he turns to me and asked me if I want try again to get pg. He said he was totally on board with trying again with one condition that if by chance if we miscarry again that I don't get as upset as I did with the last losses. I tried to explain to him that it is different for a women. Once we see the two pink lines on test we get attached. He doesn't understand that part. I looked at him and said of course. Umm I thought we already had this talk. I guess he wasn't sure what I wanted. Although the last time we talked about trying again he said he didn't want me to use opk's, didn't want any medical help, didn't want me to take any extra meds. Dh just want to let things happen. Well as everyone knows I still used the opks since I got my little smiley face on Thursday. For some reason it slipped my mind to tell Dh that I got a smiley face on my opk on Thursday.
With me quiting my job I lost my health insurance. (my company paid for my insurnace) I am going on Dh's health insurance which is better then mine. His insurance allows us to go to Hershey Medical Center. He did agree if we don't get pg on this cycle that I can call an RE to set up appt. Both of us agree that no one is monitoring my Thyroid like they should.( I had Thyroid Cancer couple of years ago) My Endocrinologist, Regular Doctor and Ob never agree on what dosage of meds I should be on. No one really checks my levels. I explained to him that an RE will monitor my Thyroid levels better. Dh said that he will go with me to see the RE but he doesn't want any more test done since all the blood test we have had taken came back normal. I told him if we see and RE I will get my records from my ob so they will have all the information. I did tell him I want one more blood test done and that is to check for MTHFR. My ob refuses to test me for this. He agreed to have this test done since we made it the farest with Pumpkin and I was taking baby asprin everyday.
Since I quit I realized how much stress I was under from my job. Dh keeps telling me how much more relaxed I am and how nice it is to see me not so stressed. I know stress is bad for a baby. I think all the stress I was under helped with all the losses. I am hoping since I less stressed we have a better chance.
Sorry this turned out to be a book. If you made it this far thank you for reading.

I am so glad you two had such a good talk and that your DH is open to giving you two more opportunities to conceive. I'm also glad that he brought it up. So many times, there is a ton of pressure on us women to be the ones to bring up those sensitive subjects so I'm sure you were relieved that he initiated that. I totally agree with him about the stress you were under. Stress can be so incredibly damaging. I'm really happy that you left your job. It seems to have been such a great decision. Hopefully you will get pg this cycle and won't need to go to the RE, but if you do need to go, I hope that they are proactive and help get you a BFP soon!

It's wonderful that you were able to talk and agree to see an RE. I'm so glad that you're less stressed and in a much better place now! I hope the RE is able to monitor you and give you a plan that will get you a sticky bfp! You deserve this soooo much Stacey!

That is exactly how Red always was (and still is). He was more worried about my mental state than anything else. And with each loss I sank farther and farther into the black hole.
You know I am so glad you quit your job. But honestly I don't think stress played much a part in your losses sweetie. With this pregnancy I lost Martha 3 days before my bfp, DH lost his job and the bill collectors were about to take our cars ect... and my mother was acting like a lunatic. I feel it is good that you stopped working that job and are now playing in the garden though
As far as testing, any RE you go to is going to want to get testing done. At a minimum they will want to do your FSH along with progesterone levels ect... If you decide to do an IUI again they will also monitor you with ultrasounds and bloodwork and maybe do the trigger shot. Oh and with the wait times to get into an RE's office I would call now and make an appointment for when your insurance takes effect. When you get your bfp this month you can always cancel it!
xoxoxoxo Stacey.
Love,
Your biggest fan

Yay, I'm glad your DH has agreed to you seeing an RE. Also, I do firmly believe that sometimes stress can have a really bad outcome on pregnancies (I was stressed out for both of mine and miscarried both times). I'm glad you are less stressful and I hope you get a BFP soon!!
