I am on my second AF since my m/c in May, and both times, the flow was extremely heavy, and is lasting 9-10 days. I called today (day 10) to ask my OB if I should be concerned. She flat out asked me when I was planning on getting pregnant again. I told her we were planning to try this cycle, but if she didn't think that was wise, then of course we would wait. She flat out said, "I think you should do everything you can to get pregnant this month". She said that she didn't see anything abnormal during my exam last Thursday, that my uterus was back to normal size, and that getting pregnant would take care of the bleeding problem. She said if I don't get pregnant this month, and the flow is still super heavy next month, that we can do an ultrasound to make sure there isn't any kind of a uterine fibroid. I'm just super excited that I have her full blessing to get knocked up
