I have been spotting the last couple days and finally about 6pm it's turned into a very light start to a/f. So my question is would today be CD 1 or doesnit have to be heavy?
Im going to call in the morning to set up my hsg and they are going to want to know what day i am on.

My RE counts the first day of full flow as CD1. I would tell them that it started light today and let them decide what they want to consider it. I hope everything goes perfectly with the HSG!

I would start it as yesterday even though it started in the evening you said it was a light flow and no longer just spotting.

I call it my period when it gets to the point where there's blood in the toilet and not just spotting on a pad or blood when I wipe. HTH <3

Hopefully it's your body getting ready to build up a nice thick & even lining and get ready for that rainbow baby

I hope so. I am really hoping this cycle is mine time, if not I'm scared to try in august because I have so many weddings booked in may 2012 I am trying to avoid being due that month.
My only fear is if I have the hsg done i won't get pregnant this cycle because of that. I did that post on here last week about the hsg and not a single person said they got pregnant that same cycle and that worries me.

Well now its looking like the HSG might not happen this month anyway because DR's are out of town. Nurse said someone will call me when they are back because they have to approve the procedure to be set up and then they have to call the insurance company to get pre auth and that can take a couple days. So by the time they get back into town and we wait on the insurance I will be past the CD's they do it at, and I only have Monday & Tuesday next week free because I am leaving on vacation.

I count the first day as when I see red blood flow, not spotting. I'm on my third day of slightly crampy heavy flow with clots so I guess we will be trying at the same time
It slowed a bit yesterday but seems back on full force today! Grrr! It is my first period after my m/c. Totally sucks!

Maybe I will get lucky and get pregnant this cycle and it not be an ectopic and I can skip the whole hsg process.

Mine started to slow in the last couple hours maybe it will be gone by tomorrow After a whole month of bleeding in May I am sick of it. This is cycle # 2 after my last loss and they are always worse for me than cycle 1.
I typically O anywhere from CD 12-16 so if you do in that time then looks like we will be TWW budies.

I'm hoping THIS cycle is the worst one. How can I possibly have anymore blood in me!!!
I O from CD13-16 so it looks like we will be TWW buddies.
Oops, that first paragraph was supposed to be a quote from Linsday2000k, but I guess I didnt do it properly!
Btw, don't worry about the HSG I had one similar with saline instead of dye (youre supposed to cramp a bit less), and it was totally fine.
Best of luck this month!

I hope you get pregnant this cycle Lindsey!!!
And just so you know, the doctors schedule the hsg procedures for early on in your cycle so it does not interrupt your cycle to hinder you from getting pregnant that month.
... still drooling over your camera!

Well now the DR said he doesnt think I need the HSG after all, unless I really want it. So one less thing I have to stress about.
So here is to hoping for the April 2012 DDC
