I was fine going into my check up appointment after being put on birth control pills... then as I started talking and probing my doctor for answers I startd to become very emotional. It seemed like he was going around my questions... he asked me about my progress then asked me how soon I wanted to start trying... ***REALLY****
It's like he didn't want to pay attention to me.. Like he had other things to do... I was trying to get answers and I left feeling very emotional and my eyes were tearing up.... He actually looked at his watch during my visit..... then he stood up during my questions and opened the door like this is how we are going to end our talk.... I felt so rushed on top of me feeling like I had no resolution and an emotional wreck... He wrote down to visit him in 4 months....***?****
Well to sum things up... I have 10 more days to finish up my BCP then it's off to start TTC on my own w/o MA.... My doctor wants to see what happens and to take the need actions to get over the next hurdle...... (Is that the right or wrong way to approach it?)

Sounds like your doctor is a real piece of work. Sorry you had to deal with that. I hate when doctors make you feel like some sort of burden, I even had a OB answer his cell phone during a pelvic exam. Who does that?!

I would start looking for a new doctor ASAP! You need a doctor that is going to give you the time that you need to answer any questions and also give some support. When you want to TTC, you need your doctor to put you at ease, not add more stress by being a jerk!

Truth to that! I found my new doctor but am still afraid that I am going to choose another "bad" doctor....

Well they're not all bad and a good doctor can make a world of difference. After a few "bad" doctors, I finally found one that I love and I wouldn't even think of going to anyone else. I wish the same for you and good luck!

I went through a number of doctors before I found the one that I liked. I got his name from 2 friends (not friends with each other). If the doctor does not hear you then change. I hope the new doctor that you found will work with you. Good luck.

That is HORRIBLE! I agree find a new doctor immediately. If the next one you find isn't a good fit for you keep looking. We all have to find one that is a good fit for us. Someone who will listen to us and help us get our rainbow babies.

Jeez he seems like a *******. Definitely time for a new relationship on that one. I had a doctor before my most recent that I literally could not get in to see. I saw a nurse practitioner for my yearly, expressed my concerns with irregular periods and ttc, and they couldn't get me in to see the actual ob/gyn til 3 frickin months later. Are you kidding me?! Then when I had my ectopic I met my current doctor and so far she is decent and working with me well and on an acceptable time line. Fx she stays good lol. Hope you can find a better doctor that understands how to treat a woman that has a history of pg loss.

Doctors are so difficult sometimes. I know I found my by chance because the one I wanted was to booked up. I am glad it happened though because he is amazing. I had a dr for my first child that I couldn't stand, and that didn't listen. I delivered my DD at 35 weeks . Trust me find a new dr that listens. It is more important than just you.

Seriously?!? Bad doctors are the worst and good ones can make terrible times so much better. I seriously fell in love with my OB during my m/c. She was just the absolute best. Definitely time to find a new Dr!
