Hello! My name is Kelly (30) and my DH is Manuel (36). I am American and from Arizona and my DH is Spanish and we are currently living in Belgium. I have to admit that I have been a lurker for awhile and have been very shy/nervous about joining.
We lost our baby at 16 weeks at the end of April. We had an ultrasound at 17 weeks to find that our baby had lost its heartbeat. It was quite a shock as we had just had an ultrasound at 14 weeks and the baby was moving around and the doctor had said everything was fine. Well, to make a long story short, we had left to go to the States for a holiday after the 14 week appointment which my doctor here knew about. She called me the day we had returned from the holiday to tell us that there was something she didn’t like in the ultrasound and that I needed to see a specialist right away. This was almost three weeks after the appointment and unfortunately this is when we found out about our loss.

I am here because we are trying to conceive again. I finally had a more normal AF that started on June 27th and based on a normal 28 day cycle I should ovulate on Sunday but since the D&C. I have had two AFs and two different cycle lengths so I am not really sure when I will ovulate. I have had cramping this past week so I am thinking that I am pretty close.

Would it be alright if I joined you?

So sorry to hear about your loss.

Of course you are in the right place, these ladies are great support. No need to be shy here, it is all out in the open and ok to vent or just talk about random things. I'm glad to hear your cycles are getting closer to normal. Good luck this cycle, and welcome to the board (hope your stay is short and sweet).

I'm so sorry for your loss. It is truly heartbreaking! I hope you find this board as supportive as I have. It has helped me keep my sanity on more than one occasion! A m/c can throw your cycle out of whack which is so frustrating. Are you charting your cycles at all with OPK's and/or taking your temp? I have found that I have a much better handle on what is going on with me by doing that. Good luck TTC and I hope you get your sticky BFP soon!

I am sorry for your loss. Welcome to the board. The ladies here are wonderful. I don't know how I would have made it through my 3 losses without the ladies on this board.

I haven't been charting but I started using OPK's this month. I am very new with them and they are very expensive here so I could only buy a package that contained 5. I have been using them in the morning and found that I have just had a light line not as dark as the control for the past days. So, I am not sure if I have missed my surge or if it is about to happen.
