I know it's Katie's job to post these, but since her arm is wounded, I figured I'd do it for her. Plus, I actually have pictures for once. So, post what you did this weekend!

We went to the white mountains (in NH) this weekend. I didn't take many pictures, but there were a few I liked.

I have no pictures, but we went to a wedding on Saturday of a co-worker. Coolest part was right after the ceremony after everyone came out of the church, they took off on his motorcycle. CJ had a blast dancing at the reception. No adults really danced, but the little kids were having a blast out there.

Beautiful pictures Courtney. My camera is at home so no pictures with me to post, but we went to the swimming pool on Sunday. So much fun just relaxing by the pool and doing nothing.

I had my IUI on Saturday. No pics from that. We went to a family reunion on Sunday and had a really good time. DD has had a severe fear of lakes since the reunion last summer. Last Tuesday we took her to the lake to try to get her used to the idea of being near the lake during the reunion. It worked, and by the end of the day yesterday she was swimming her heart out!

What happened with the lake last year?

My husband refuses to swim in any water he can't see through or that might have fish in it. He is such a baby.

Courtney - I used to live in NH and absolutely loved the White Mountains! I'm glad you were able to enjoy them!
Sam - The wedding sounds fun. It's always so cute when the little kids hit the dance floor.
Melissa - Relaxing by the pool sounds like a great weekend! Now that's all I want to do!
Lori - I am so glad your daughter conquered her fear! It looks like you all had a blast!

My weekend was pretty uneventful. Sunday was the day we did the most. We took my DSD to a horseback riding lesson and I got to help her groom her pony. Then we went strawberry picking and I got bit by a spider which totally freaked me out and ended my picking. Later we took the dogs to a local pond and went swimming. Sunday was also my dog, Pepper's 4th birthday so she got some special treats and a stuffed toy. By the end of the day, she was pooped. My picture to share is her recovering after a fun birthday.

I'm not a fan of not being able to see the bottom, especially if there is weird-feeling stuff on the bottom. I don't let it stop me from swimming though. I'm not really sure what happened with the lake. She threw a huge fit and wouldn't even put her feet in it last year. We didn't push her and just took her to the playground while DS swam with DH's uncle. Then every day since then every time we passed by a lake (we pass 2 every day on the way to the babysitter's house) she would scream "No water! Don't put me in the water!" A few weeks ago she was laying next to me in my bed watching TV and out of the blue started talking about a lake. She told me that someone threw her in the lake. She tried to get out of the water, but she got stuck, and couldn't breathe. Then she saw a light and went to it and left her Mommy and Daddy. I was kinda shocked so I asked her to repeat the story, because usually that's how I can tell her fact from fiction- whether she'll repeat the same story she just told me. She repeated it again, as matter of factly as she had the first time. Then I had her repeat it for DH. She did exactly how she did the first two times. I asked her if she left me and DH, and she said, "No silly my other Mommy and Daddy." I'm still not sure what all of that was about, but I'm glad we were able to get her to a point where she's a little more comfortable with being near and in the lake.

@luvmykids623 Wow that's a crazy story! Glad she wasn't as scared this time around. Maybe whatever happened to the other girl happened between the two ages that your daughter was last year and is now.

@pepper73 It is so beautiful up there! We go every summer because my husband's work pays for everyone to go. It's great.

I am right there with your husband Courtney! I am scared of swimming in lakes.
