So I had a missed miscarriage and I am waiting for it to occur naturally and it's going on about a week with no bleeding/cramping. Two weeks since the first and only spotting I've had. I'm supposed to be about 10 weeks now but like I said, baby stopped growing.
So my question for you ladies: During your losses (esp those who had missed m/c) did you lose all your symptoms?
Mine are RAGING. Still throwing up, still having stretchy uterus feelings, still have sore BBs, still tired... Is this normal??

One of my first signs was the diminishing of symptoms. When was your last check by the doctor? Sometimes our bodies just don't do what they are suppose to do.

I had a missed miscarriage at 6 weeks and my body never got the message. My HCG kept going up and I wasn't spotting at all after 6 weeks. At 7 weeks, they confirmed that it was definitely a miscarriage and we decided to wait another week to see what would happen. Still nothing by week 8, so I went ahead and had a D&C. It was quick and easy and finally gave me some closure. I also found out later that my HCG was STILL going up even the day of the D&C so it could have taken weeks more for my body to get the picture. I just couldn't handle waiting.

Actually until I passed everything I still had all my symptoms. ((HUGS)) Make sure your doctors don't let you go too long as you don't want to get an infection.

My first symptom was horrible back pain. Then loss of pg symptoms, and then cramping which started off dull and ended up super strong, and then finally the bleeding.

I'm so so sorry for your loss...

I had a missed miscarriage, but the baby only stopped growing the day before or the day of the U/S...however, for those 2 days, I definitely noticed that my crazy cravings were much less than they had been...

I had no signs either, and took misoprostol (vaginally) to get it over with - it worked, cause I couldnt deal with the baby still being inside of me, mentally, it was too difficult...

I had a missed miscarraige as well and still had symptoms up to the date of the D&C which was weeks after growth stopped.

My first sign something was wrong was symptoms were going away so I have been able to tell them something was wrong before they even knew.

I waited with one of my losses and it took 5 weeks from the time the baby passed away until I had the miscarriage. My DR said he was only going let me go to 6 weeks and then wanted me to have a D&C because my risk of infection was getting high. The 5th week I asked for cytotect (orally) and 2 hours later I passed everything.

I had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. We didn't find out for almost three weeks, when I started spotting. But my symptoms disappeared overnight so at least a part of me knew there was something wrong and I insisted on the u/s when I started bleeding. I just passed everything this afternoon...

(((HUGS))) I'm so sorry you are going through this....

For me, I started bleeding heavily on the 3rd of July, clots and all....it eventually tappered down by Friday the 8th and as I thik you read, my HCG doubled....I still had raging symptoms all weekend, the increased urination, the "porn star boobs," being super oily...I really thought things were looking up. I was still having spotting but it was light brown. I went for my U/S yesterday and there was no heartbeat. Trying to be optimistic I waited for my Dr. to call. This morning I noticed my breasts seemed to not be as full or sensitive. In my heart I just knew it was the begining of the end. My "metal mouth," had ceased a bit too.....My Dr. called today and told me my betas had fallen, it was over.

He called in a script for Cytotec that I have to take vaginally, although I've been praying all day to not need it. I'm not sure if those prayers have been answered as I'm now getting red bleeding again and I have a hell of a pressure by my cervix right now. DH is actually at the store picking up my Rx.....I'm still going to take it, as the PP stated, just knowing I am a carrying a dead child is too much on me mentally and emotionally considering the roller coaster we've been on for all most two weeks I'm ready for this to be over, at least physically.

I'm terrified, but I will let you know how it goes. I've never done this before and pray that I will never experience this again...
