My ovulation had been CD 14-16 on the cycles that I have charted or used OPK's.
I have only watched about 5 cycles.
Last month I ovulated on CD 12.
Now this cycle I am on CD 9 right and my OPK's are getting dark already, not positive yet but I think another 1-2 days it will be.

So I quess my question is, is it bad to O this early? Cound Metformin be making me O early? Any one who has had an ectopic did it make you O different after?

Also my regular cycles have always ran 27-32 days never ever under 27 and last month (first cycle on Metformin & first cycle after ectopic) My cycle was only 26 days long.

So I am just wondering what might be causing this change the metformin or the ectopic. none of my other miscarriages have ever changed m cycles.

I do not have any experience on metformin or ectopic. I just want to say that I have always had irregular cycles and ovulate different CDs each cycle.

I use to be very irregular but it was always on the longer side like 60, 90+ day cycles. But after I had my daughter they went to 27-32 days for 3 years now.
Ovulation I have no clue only other than the cycles I have charted and they were any where from 14-16 until last month it was 12 and now its looking like maybe this month might be CD 10 or 11.

I think that might be a question for your doctor to answer more accurately. Sorry I could not be more help.

My midwife told me Metformin improves ovulation. But that's about all I know.

My doctor told me metformin helps you ovulate every month but nothing about moving ovulation up. Maybe the ectopic just changed your hormones.

Yea thats what I am starting to think... or that methotrexate shot could have done it too. I am not complaining because when TTC having short cycles can be handy with not having to wait so long for the next one. My LP was 14 days long last cycle so as long as that doesnt change I guess i will call it a good thing.
It just feels like I am trying to re learn a new body.

Metformin never made me have that short of cycles, but it has made them a little more regular. my dr told me that metformin just "improves" your chances of ovulation if you weren't ovulating and that it can cause "spontanious" ovulation. so maybe that means it could move the ovulation up. i wouldn't be worried unless your LP gets shorter too. Good luck!
