I just wanted to give an update on my RE appointment today. It was very informative actually. The RE doc was very understanding and wants to make sure that we do all that we can do to get us a healthy baby in the end of this.
My insurance covers all the diagnostic processes but non of the other types of fertility treatments. I figured that it wasn't.
My RE said that a HSG (xray) can make it appear that the uterus is one way but it could be on a closer look something different.
According to my obgyn he said that I have a bicornate uterus when doing the HSG procedure, but the RE said that it could be a deep septum that makes it look like a bicornate.
The diagnostics that we will do is the:
FSH test on day 2, 3 or 4 of my period (blood test and ultra sound to make sure follies are there
HSG test again
Then my DH will do the sa again as it has been a while since.
If I have a septum that makes my uterus look like a V inside the uterine wall. Here is a picture of a septum in a uterus(6th picture on the page):
Problems With The Uterus and Fertility, Infertility
I will keep you posted on how it will go. I know DH has scheduled to have the sa done next tuesday. I will have to wait until next period coming along which is next month.
Also need a pap smear done as well from my regular obgyn.
No more clomid in my regimen. RE would not have done 9 months of clomid.
Thanks for reading.
