how long did it take for your cycle to get back to normal and how far along were you when you had the m/c??

I'm on CD32 (normally have a 28 day cycle) and AF hasn't shown up yet. I took a test this morning and it was a BFN. I didn't think a m/c at 4.5 weeks would cause this much of a problem.

ETA: I forgot to add that this is my SECOND cycle past m/c. My first AF showed up 2 days late last month.

Good question. I was wondering this also. I was 11 weeks along when mc. It has only been a little over 5 weeks since my mc. I think I had first AF around 4 weeks but just not sure if it was AF or still bleeding from mc. I'm hoping my cycle will be normal next time. It's always good to hear others experiences.

I don't really know but after 3 months it was still allover the place. It used to come for a day, stop for another day, restart, stop again then start and used to have a flow for around 10 to 15 days. Got it back to regulare when I started taking clomid again.

This is driving me batty because I'm NEVER late. The only time(s) I've been late is when I've been pregnant and the first month coming off the b/c patch. I hate the unknown!!

I hope your cycle straightens itself out. How frustrating. Actually...I hope that your cycle isn't there because you are really gonna get a BFP here soon! I am worrying about when mine will return too. Mine was so recent though, I guess I have a long time to worry about it. I hope you get your rainbow baby, very, very soon~

I'm curious about this too... I'm also wondering if it makes a difference if you have a natural m/c or a d&c as far as how quickly your cycles go back to normal?

AF started right at 6 weeks after my m/c which I think is fairly typical from what I have heard. I had a d/c at about 8.5 weeks.

Everyone's bodies are different, even every pregnancy. Mine ranged from 4 weeks to 9 weeks. ((HUGS)) I hope yours goes back to normal soon.

I forgot to mention that this would be my second cycle past m/c. DH and I have been TTC since the m/c in May.

I have had 4 miscarriages. With the third one I probably was no more than 2 weeks along and it took 17 weeks for my hcg level to get below 5. I last misscarried on April 10th, no more than a couple week again. I am still waiting for my levels to get below 5at 12 weeks it was at 20.6. I am dropping at the same levels as I did last time. I had regular periods the entire time....

My last miscarriage I was 10 weeks and I must have bled for a month straight. Once that stopped it took about 20 days to get my first period. Once I got that my cycle was a whopping 33 days, then just my last cycle was 28 days.

Everyone's body is different, but maybe you should have some pregnancy tests on hand just in case, since you are trying? Have you been watching your ovulation?

My first post-M/C was 31 days, the one after that was 31 days, now the one after looks like it should be 30-31 days...I M/C at 9 weeks and hadnt had a period since before my son was born...before my son was born, my cycle was 45-70 days...weird!
