So I am confused :/ I have been feeling pregnant about 4-5 days now, I think. With my pregnancies I felt it early, last pregnancy a week before AF was due I was throwing up, got my + a week after started feeling the nausea.

Well, I have been feeling very sick, verge of throwing up (tmi) boobs sore which only happens when I'm pregnant, headaches, the works. I feel so pregnant I don't believe the negative tests But I know it may still be early b/c that's how it was with other two.

Well, I bought a 3-pack answer brand. First test was 3 days ago and completely negative. Second test was yesterday morning, and I saw a slight line which I thought was an evap (no color, microscopic), and by the end of the day it had developed color on the top and bottom of the line. Very very pink obvious color, none in the middle but lots on top and bottom.

I kinda got hopeful but at the same time shrugged it off as evap since it was after the time frame.

Well, this morning's did the same thing, but instead of taking all day only took a couple hours. Microscopic "is it there?" gray line which developed color which is much bolder and darker and more obvious than yesterdays.

Has anyone ever had this happen with a pink dye test? I know you're not supposed to look after the time frame b/c of evaps but then I thought that if it had color, with a pink test, than it can't be an evap?

Any advice?
My doc won't do blood tests until you are very late on your period, and I'm not even late yet lol. This is my first cycle after m/c and if first day of m/c was CD 1 than I'm due for period on the 20th so still fairly early.

I don't want to spend more money on tests, I've already been through a ton :/ have IC's coming hopefully in 3 days. /Rambling/

The only time I have ever seen a line develop after the time limit, I have been pregnant. Hopefully this is it for you!

I don't like the Answer brand, I think they make crappy lines I think it sounds promising. If you DO decide to spring for one more test, get the First Response Early Results brand. It is the most sensitive of the home pregnancy tests.

In my experiences, I got way more evaps (even evaps with slight color) with the new FRERs (first response early result) tests than I ever did with Answer. The ones that say test a whole 6 days early instead of the usual 5. The 5 days early FRER tests are the best ones, better than Answer. In my experiences, Answer tests beat out FRER's 6 days early test. I got my on Answer.

I would wait a couple days and test again. After a m/c your cycle doesn't always go back to normal. I used a digi last time I tested but it was the day AF was due and I pretty much knew what it was going to say. AF was no where in site LOL. Good luck I hope this is your healthy stickie bean.

I agree with the new FRER 6 day sooner tests being evap monsters! Answer seems to be following down the same road lately too (since they're made by the same company). I hope that this is the start of a beautiful BFP for you!

Totally go and "waste" the money on a ClearBlue Easy Digital. They pick up HCG as low as 8 (I know from experience!). And it will absolutely be more sensitive and less "am I" than the line tests. I got a positive on a digi with an HCG of 8 and did not get a "good line" on an Answer test until two days later. The two days following the digi looked like evaps to me because of the weird dye patterns. So that sounds really promising to me. I did have better luck with the FRER, but for the money, go ahead and get the PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT response that you are looking for!
