This weekend Eric actually had a Saturday off that he didn't have to request off This definitely doesn't happen very often so we decided to invite a few of Eric's coworkers/friends and our new neighbors over for a cookout. There were plenty of kids over so our LO's had a blast and it was nice to get to know some new people. We only have one car and I'm a SAHM out in the sticks so some adult conversation is appreciated.

Everybody in my house had a cold, so not much got done. The most constructive thing was we did clean and polish two bins of silver, that DH got from his mom, some of it hasn't been cleaned or seen the light of day in 45+ years.

We went camping and it was a blast! The campground we went to had a gorgeous heated pool and we also walked to Echo Lake (part of Acadia National Park) which was nice but too crowded for me...plus the walk was brutal. It was a busy and exhausting weekend but so much fun. Now I need to unpack everything and get life back on track.

Dh and friend worked on our barn rebuilding it. Afterwards we went camping. Couple of our friends stopped by and we sat around the fire until around 2 am. Sunday we just relaxed and worked in our garden.

We re-did our screen porch. I am still covered in primer. I will post before and after pictures later.
