This was my first cycle TTC after my mc in May. I ovulated either Friday or Saturday (7/8 or 7/9) and am in the two week wait - around 8 dpo. Starting this Thursday though I started having some "ovulation" type cramping/pressure down low. Yesterday I noticed a little pink cm. Today, I'm spotting (when I wipe) and it looks just like the spotting I had with my miscarriage, it's kind of that tanish pink looking cm. I'm not due for AF for another week so I don't know what's going on. Every time I go to the bathroom it's like reliving the mc all over again. I guess I'm out this month. Just wish I knew if this was some really early loss or just a very strange AF that's 7 days early.
One other little detail, Dh and I BD'd on Thursday and all this has been taking place since then. A part of me is holding out hope that we just irritated my cervix. It's Sunday though, so I would think my cervix would have forgiven me by now.
**UPDATE! Well, it looks like it might have been implantation after all!!! I tested today on a dollar test and got a faint line. I don't trust those, so I ran out and bought an Answer brand test and got this:
Now, I get to bite my nails for the next few days to see if it gets darker and my bean sticks. This is so nerve wracking!

After a loss your cycles can be all messed up. It sounds to me like your body is just trying to get back to normal. ((HUGS))

Loss messes with your cycle...my first post-M/C cycle, I had a 6 day LP !!
But, it has regulated a bit more since then, last month was 10 days, and this month is at least more than 6

At this point, I'll take AF. AF was normal last time, but who knows with this month. No real bleeding or anything so far. I've just had this tanish pink spotting off an on mixed in with CM. It's not something I normally have before AF, but I know things can be whacky after a miscarriage. I guess I just assumed since the first cycle went off without a hitch, I was back to "normal". I wish I had more patience. I just want to get pregnant again quickly. I can't believe we've been at this since the end of December. Although I know that is nothing compared to how long some of the ladies have been trying on here.

I can take months for your body to figure itself out after a loss even though the first cycle was "normal". I know the feeling all too well of wanting to be pregnant again right away. I've been trying since August 2008 and now have 8 angels... Just take things one day at a time hun. It sucks there is no denying that but that's what we are here for. To help you get through these tough times and cheer you on when the sun shines through

Yes, this waiting for rainbow baby SUCKS. I just started my 3rd AF since having my m/c right around the same time as you, and my first two were horrid... like 12 days long. So, I'm just hoping this one is the normal 5-6 days instead of 12! I'm sorry the spotting is bringing back m/c memories My guess is that your body is still trying to get back to normal. Good luck! I hope you get your rainbow baby very, very soon.

I agree with the others, a loss can mess with your cycle and it is totally frustrating. I hope it regulates soon.

I agree with the other ladies. It takes time for your body to get back to normal. Sending you hugs.

Thanks ladies. No spotting or anything today. Guess I'll just sit back and see what happens.

Thanks ladies. My test this morning didn't look any darker so I'm a little concerned about that but trying to chill until I can test again tomorrow morning. There is still a definite second line on the test and maybe it just doesn't look as dark because yesterday's test is dry and probably darkened a bit with time. We'll see. I hope I get to keep this one. :/
