I swear to God when it freaking rains it pours.
So I am nearing the end of my IVF. I made ammends with my mom a month ago and we agreed she would come down and help me with the kids towards the end and then take the kids back home with her to Louisiana until after the transfer. Well she came in Thursday to take the kids back with her Sunday. Things changed.
First, my sister failed her pap about a month ago. Precancerous cells on her cervix. Same thing I had 3 years ago. I had a LEEP and it took care of mine. I have been good since. Well, she had a LEEP and her 2nd biopsy came back just as bad. They decided to bring her into out patient surgery and cut a huge chunk of her cervix out. It was either that or a hystorectomy.
They scheduled that for today, so my mom instead headed over to my sister's for the weekend and it was a huge argument every time I had to go to the doctors (my mom was supposed to watch my kids but instead watched hers). I even took my son with me to my blood draw early this morning. He had to sit outside the office (no kids allowed) while they took my blood.
Anyway, when I got an urgent call from my RE's office about something wrong with me, I had to run back quickly. She had just gotten out of surgery and all I asked was for my mom to watch the kids along with hers. My sister freaked. I guess she was bleeding excessively after her surgery, going through 4 pads an hour and passing huge clots. She refused to go back in to the hospital and instead went back to her doctor along with my mom and all 4 kids (mine and hers). She told me that I better be dying or have cancer to be more important than her. *sigh*
Fast forward to tonight, I get a call from my mom that my sister has been admitted to the hospital while they try to control her bleeding. My BIL went to play flag football and left my sister in the hospital by herself. (BTW, all of his family lives here in town but refuses to watch her kids because they are sooooo bad) She was just rushed into emergency surgery because I guess they nicked an artery.
I have my surgery on Wednesday. Seriously?? So now I am scared to death for her (even if she is ALWAYS rude to me), and pissed that my BIL's family will not step up. At least watch the kids for my mom to fo to the hospital. Ugh. Plus I have no voice and I have been really sick. I am so swollen I cannot even stand long. It hurts. Please pray for her. I cannot believe all this is happening at once.

I am so sorry. That is a lot of stress on everyone. It is hard to go through your own stress and emotions when you are also worrying about your sister. You are in my prayers.

Oh no, that is definitely a "when it rains it pours" situation! I'm so sorry that all of this is happening and happening all at once! I pray that your sister is ok! I know that we have all been very angry with her and the way she's been treating you, but Cancer is not something anyone deserves and I'm sure it is very scary for you and your whole family. I agree that your BIL's family needs to step up and help out. She is their family too and all of this should not rest on you and your mother. What is wrong with your BIL? I can't believe he would be out having fun while his wife is in surgery! I also understand that your sister is going through something scary and painful, but she should also understand that you are going through a lot too. I hope that this can all get sorted out by tomorrow so that you are in a good frame of mind when you go in for the retrieval. I also hope that you start feeling better soon. Being sick on top of everything else is just awful.
Big hugs to you!

OMG... BIG BEAR HUGS TO YOU!
That is so much to handle but I guess these are the moments to just go with the flow.... (Easier said then done.. .I'm sure....)
Your BIL and his family needs a reality check to know what is really important in their lives... seriously..... How inconsiderate.......
My thoughts and prayers goes out to you and your family....

Thanks ladies. My sister is doing well after her emergecy surgery last night. They were able to control the bleeding and she may be going home tonight. My mom is finally coming over to get the kids and head back home to Louisiana.
My urgert matter was my blood levels. The doctor needed to do an u/s herself to make sure everything is ok. I am extremely crampy and tired today, but it'll all be over soon enough. I did my trigger last night too. I guess I did it right too because I got a + on a HPT this morning. I am EXTREMELY bloated too from so many eggs. I look about 4 months pregnant, yet I have actually lost weight. Go figure.
