Well, if I compare this surgery to a round of chemo, I'd rather have the round of chemo. Luckily, with my husband working in the medical field, I was able to keep a port in and go home like that. They gave me some IV meds for home, and antinausea one I took way back when, and I forgot how quickly it can knock you out! lol. I slept well the first night, but just feel sore all over! Using my abdominal muscles for anything pretty much hurts right now from compensating yesterday.
My husband has been a dream! His unit had a Organization (field) day today, so he took the kiddos with him since he is competing in soccer and volleyball. The kids had a blast with their daddy, and I got some rest. I'm hoping I feel at least 75% by the time Charlie goes in for his surgery, since I'm guessing he wont' be too happy about it, he is finally becoming as active as his sister.
