OPK's or your BBT? And yes I know there is no 100% way to know for sure unless you have a blood test at a certain DPO.
Before my ectopic I would get a + OPK and then FF would say I O the day after I got the +. Or if I was not temping I got one and would BD that night and the next and it seemed to work.

Well the last 2 months I get my + OPK and FF says I O that same day. I always thought you O 24-48 later?
I dont think its because I am not catching my surge on time because Wed at 11am it was negative then 3pm it was positive.... Thursday it was acually a darker positive. But FF is saying I O now on the same day I get my first + OPK.

So what one would you go by? I hate not having a more advanced warning that O is coming since my cycles seem to be pretty irregular. Do you think I am Oing on the same day or that FF might be wrong?

So if I plug one more temp as high as today or higher FF says today I am 2 DPO... I hope we DTD on the right times.

I only use the BBT, I get false + with the OPK's my body tries to O once or twice, sometimes 3 times, before I actually do, the only way I know for sure is a consistent thermal shift.

How do you plan when to DTD when irregular cycles?
My other problem is some cycles like this one I really don't get EWCM. Some cycles its really noticable and so bad I need a liner and this month I just had one time when I went to the bathroom and saw some.

I always use my last positive OPK as my "positive" then say ovulation is the next day. I get really bad pains so I know it's the next day. Hope this some what helps Lindsey.

Also wanted to add that if you don't put it as positive the first day since you go a positive the next day on FF then that will change you date with them.

I try to BD every time my cervix chages from low and firm to soft and high. I get 2-3 days of soft cervix. Yes DH gets annoyed when I make him do it "for no reason" but I think he sort of understands that this is just how it is with me.

my cycles range from 32 to 50 days, and it is frustrating.

Thanks ladies every month I get confused with all this.
I don't get O pains so I can't go by that.
I think we will DTD one more night just to be sure.

Katie I put yesterday as my Positive and ff changed my o to then if my temps go high.

I was hoping to have a night off from dtd but looks like I need to add one more in.

You don't HAVE to BD tonight, but I think if you want to feel as calm as possible about doing everything you could do, then maybe you should FF isn't the end-all-be-all (although it is pretty smart!). If you haven't already read my other post about you and Melissa and me, go read it THIS IS OUR MONTH. And whoever else wants to head over to April '12 is more than welcome of course

PS - Just adding... I always O either 1 or 2 days after my + OPK. Temping drives me crazy, I've never gotten pregnant during a temping cycle, so I quit. I trust my OPKs just fine. Ideally I start having regular (every other night or so) sex with DH when I first start seeing EWCM, but it didn't go that way this cycle for me. Have you always had irregular cycles? I thought you always used to O at the same time?
