and I am not sure we are going to be ttc this cycle, if I O when I am expected to and get preggo I'd be due the week the DH has his national skirmish.

I am so over not getting my turn - it is so hard to stay positive about TTC when everyone around you is pregnant or has a baby.

I think I need to just suck it up and call the new midwife I want to see, see if they will prescribe me some metformin.

I am so sorry this wasn't your month. I would say if your dr isn't helping then yes a new one would be in order. Sorry I don't know the whole story but I wish you tons of luck and stickie baby dust.

well, I was seeing a midwife in NJ, and they did prrescribe me met after some begging, but then my insurance changed and they were going to charge me $300 for a visit, so I skipped my annual visit, then then I got pregnant and couldn't find a m/w or doc in north jersey who would take me for a 2vbac, so I begged and the fist midwife took me back, but then I m/c and they told me that my met dosage was wrong, even though I hadn't been taking it for weeks because I ran out - so they wouldn't prescribe me more.

then this past winter our insurance changed again because DH started working in MD, so I couldn't go to yet another annual exam. Then we moved out of jersey. So I was waiting and hoping I'd just make my first appointment as a PG appointment. Plus I have been busy getting Adam into doc appointments and such for school, and now he needs to get into the eye doctor and both kids need the dentist. So I have been waiting.

I guess it is just time to call, I hope they have more hours than listed on their website, the closest office is over an hour away, and only have appointments till 4:30 on fridays in the closest office, and I don't do city driving so I need DH to take me, but he works an hour away in the opposite direction.

Guess I should just call

I'm so sorry the witch showed and I totally understand your feelings of frustration. My temp dropped today so I know I'm out for April too. It's so unfair and for you to have all the added stress dealing with lousy insurance companies just adds it. I really hope you are able to get in soon and that your new midwife can get you a good game plan going so that you can get that BFP.
