Should I stop testing with the OPK?

Hope that you can see the image of my weeks opk testings....
I think I "O"ed but I keep thinking that there was a defect on my stick when it had a smile face....
Confused... Should I just keep testing till I get my "Friend"?
I also Hope that I covered myself with the BD for this time frame....

Monday's test looks the closest to positive to me, although it doesn't look like it it definitely is positive, because the test line doesn't look as dark as or darker than the control line. I know some women never get a true positive on OPK's (usually depending on the brand) but still ovulate. What time are you taking the OPK's every day?

Either way, I think that you should definitely keep BDing until after you have 3 consecutive days of higher temperatures just to be safe.

When you are using the smiley face tests you can't go by the line value. You have to go by the smiley face. Did you get a smiley face on cd13?

To me it doesn't look like you O'd yet but it could be you missed your surge. I would keep BDing just in case

I've been taking all of the test around 5pm... except this morning because I was sooo curious....

I did get a smile face on CD13... but then no faces on CD14... I thought it should at least have been a smile face for at least 2 to 3 days... but in my case just 1.... so confused....

Looking at your tests it doesn't look like you O'd yet. Do you temp? Have you had three high temps in a row yet? I'd definitely keep BDing.

I did temp. You can click on my FF chart to see it... The temp was confusing to me too because my temp was high on the OPK+ day then drop the next with the OPK-.... The temp just seems to go back to how it was a few days ago... That just happened so fast!

Oh Pepper73... About the control line... It was much darker the day of but faded after a few days after... I would say it was about equal......

I checked out your temps and I can't tell by the temps if you have O'd yet or not. Maybe in a few days it will be a bit clearer but it doesn't look like you've had higher temps yet. Sorry I'm just not sure.

Thanks Melissa.. I appreciate any advice right now.... That one day of the Smile face just messed up my whole thought process of OPK's.... Did I..Did I not... Did I... Did I not.... I feel like I should pluck flower petals and that would be more clearer then this method right now....

Ahhhh...ok, I didn't realize those were smiley face tests, but even so it's the same day as that line is darker and all the others were lighter. And I didn't even think about fading after drying so that makes sense too. Taking them at 5pm should show the surge, but Katie is right, you could've just missed it. When I get closer to O, I start taking mine twice in one day...one in the afternoon and one in the evening. I am very curious to see what your temps do in the next few days. Your temp today does seem like it might be going up but unfortunately you are now in the horrible waiting game to see what they do from now on. I know how frustrated you must be. Having unclear signs/tests/temps just makes it all so much more difficult. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks Ladies! I think that I'm just going to continue testing for another week, keep a close look at the temps and continue to BD every other day to see what happens.... Hope my temps increase because that would be very reassuring.....

You will only get a smiley face for 1 day. I say you ovulated on either CD13 or CD14.

Again, you can not go by the line value/darkness with the Clearblue Digital OPK's. They are different (but VERY accurate)!

Sometimes I feel like that too...maybe you can start a new way of determining ovulation!! Wouldn't it be great if it was that easy and definitive?

I think you O'd on CD 13... my ovulation tests never got much darker than that with that kind of OPK. The fact that you got a smiley face that day too is promising.

oh boy cross my fingers.. I hope it's promising.... The only reason why I'm a bit skeptic is because I had no signs/symptoms of ovulation... Like the tender breast, pinching ovaries pain, egg white cm...... I really wasn't going to test on CD13 but DH said to just do it because I had already started.... Did not even know it..... It just creeps up on you fast!

I'd say get some cheap Wonderfo ICs from Amazon, you can get a ton for what it costs to get just a few digis...and for me, the expensive drug store tests never worked, but the wonderfo work perfectly...

FWIW< I dont think you have Oed yet either...
