Does soy help with CM?
My ovulation seems to be getting later each month and this month I had no EWCM. So I was thinking maybe trying soy next cycle.
I was going to wait for A/F to show before i buy it so I'm not wasting money incase by slim chance that I am pregnant.
What day do you start? How many days do you take it? How much do you take?
Any one had side effects from it good or bad?

I took it for 3 cycles last year, I always took it days 3-7. The month I took 120mg (3 40mg pills) I had lots of ewcm and it made my ovulate on CD 13. My natural cycles I tend to O between CD 16-18 so it did seem to work. I hope you get good results with it, good luck!

I forgot to say, I did not notice any side effects from it, I took them before bed.

I took them years ago when I was first TTC and they really helped with Oing earlier. I'm not sure about the EWCM as I was on a bunch of other things for that too. I started taking soy again last cycle and this one. Last cycle I only took 80mg from CD 1-5 and it didn't help with O at all. This cycle I've increased it to 120mg. I'm only on CD 4 now so I'm not sure if it will help or not. The only side effect that it may have caused is I've been really cranky the last couple of days. I don't know if that is from the soy though.

Soy seems to dry mine up but I have heard that happens a lot. However, I wouldn't be a good indicator anyway because my cm really sucks to begin with. Pretty much non-existant ;/

I took soy and it actually made me O later and so I didn't take it any more. I know lots of ladies have had success on it though. Usually you take it CD 3-7 or 5-10 and it's basically supposed to be the natural Clomid. You should start out on a lower dosage and if it doesn't work up the dosage the next month. I'm not sure if it helps with CM but I know a lot of women have had success on it

Thanks ladies. Would you recommend adding something else to take along with it for the cm problem?
Or maybe my body is still messed up from ectopic and I need to just give it more time.

For CM, I'm trying to drink a lot of fluids and make sure I have at least one cup of green tea each day. I'm also taking EPO and honey & cinnamon. A little closer to O, I'll be adding mucinex into the mix. I take Fish Oil too, but I'm not sure if that helps with CM or not.

Musinex for the cm!

I took soy around 4 times. I took 160mg cd 3-7 at night just before bed. The first cycle I took it I had crazy hot flashes. Other than that no side effects. It did make me ovulate a few days earlier than normal.

I took the generic kind 2x a day for 3 or so days before ovulation. Make sure it has the active ingredient Guaifenesin in it.

I have used soy in the past and, if I recall, took it CD3-7. I ovulated a day or two earlier. I don't remember if it impacted CM for me but my go to CM helper has always been Rub Red Grapefruit juice. I drink a glass or two a day leading up to and through O. It has always given me TONS of CM.
