Ok, so I just got back from the doctor....and I have a UTI. ugghhh. So, I told him we are ttc and he was hesitant to give me an antibiotic..(which so am I) and said the ones that are safe...really don't work and the ones that do can be harmful. If I don't treat it though it can lead to pylonephritis..(kidney infection) ugghhhh....I don't know what to do. Should I take the stinking antibiotic that he gave me that might not even work, or wait for the culture and sensitivity to come back which will show which one will work anyways. Dang it, this is bad timing.
On a good note, he sent me for a serum hcg! even though I KNOW it can't be positive yet, but he really wanted to have it done anyways, and so did I, haha. He ordered it quantitative, so I will at least get a number. hey, if it is greater than 0, i might just be, cause I went back to 0 after the loss!! I don't think your body makes any hcg until it implants though, right? one can hope! But I am only like 8dpo.
day in the life of my drama

don't count yourself out just yet. I've gotten a bfp on an hpt before at 8dpo, so you could be, implantation can take place any where between 4po and 10dpo.

I would take the lower dosage one. If it works great if not then you know you have to take the other one. KUP and let us know your number

UTI's are the worst! I'm so sorry!! I agree with the others...take the safe antibiotic and see what happens, and also definitely drink lots of cranberry juice! Good luck with the blood tests! I can't wait to hear the results!

Cranberry juice can do wonders, but you have to make sure that it's the pure concentrated form or the pills because the others, especially blended with other juices, won't do anything.
Good luck and I hope you get a great number tomorrow!
