Do you usually have leftovers from meals?
If so what do you do with them?
How often do you throw them away?
Do you ever re-use them to make something else?

Between my husband and 3 grown boys they are like a pack of wolves... It doesn't matter how much food I make - they eat it all!

Haha same with DH but lately I've been putting some directly away so he doesn't realize it's there and then I use it for another meal

I tried that but in the middle of the night while I slept the wolves came out in full attack! I cooked pork chops the other night thinking that was enough for 2 nights... woke up the next morning to crumbs! Crumbs I tell you.

Do you usually have leftovers from meals? Some times we have left overs. Even though it is just the two of us I try to cook a lot. Dh can be a good eater.
If so what do you do with them? When we do have left overs Dh usually senaks them out for his lunch the next day.
How often do you throw them away? not that often but that is what Chickens are for. I didn't know Chickens eat half of what they do.
Do you ever re-use them to make something else? If they last that long I try to make something else out of them.

Missy, thank you for making me laugh this morning. I can just picture your boys and Red going into the kitchen eating all the left overs while you slept.

Do you usually have leftovers from meals? Yes
If so what do you do with them? Eat them for lunch at work
How often do you throw them away? Hardly ever, but it depends on the food too. Salad doesn't store for very long.
Do you ever re-use them to make something else? Not usually, but sometimes.

If so what do you do with them? I usually take them to work for lunch.
How often do you throw them away? Unfortunately too often, DH says he is going to eat something, then I find it still in the fridge a week or more later.
Do you ever re-use them to make something else? I try too. We had leftover sweet and sour chicken from take out the other night (ordered it for the bug) I made a big thai style stir fry out of it the next night.

Do you usually have leftovers from meals? For the most part no I try to cook just enough for the meal because my kids can be weird from day to day and either eat whats been cooked or not.
If so what do you do with them? If there was anything left over from the night before it usually turns into my lunch or the kids lunches.
How often do you throw them away? the fridge gets cleaned out once a week.
Do you ever re-use them to make something else? I wish this was an option but I live in a house full of picky people and its already hard enough to come up with a basic menu for the week......some days I go without dinner for the simple fact Im tired of eating the same ol same.
