I meet with my Dr. today for my 2 week follow up after my d.c. He doesn't know why i keep m/c witch is no surprise to me or dh. so we talked about our next step. He wants us to wait at least 6 months to ttc and he said its up to me but next time he can put me on progesterone as soon as i find out im expecting again. My next apt is in 6 months (that seems so long from now!)

My question for all you ladies is
have you ever been on progesterone after a loss?
Do u know anything about it?

The only time i have been on progesterone has been after I have O'd. But they may be assuming that your progesterone is not high enough and that is why you are m/c. Hugs!!!

I havent started progesterone yet but I will when I really hardcore start TTC but my midwife is putting me on it 3 DPO. You should ask your doctor about that so you can catch the eggie early.

Also I have heard of progesterone working wonders and it not helping others. If that's the reason you are miscarrying of course it will work wonders! If not, well the opposite.

I have heard good stories though so try to stay positive as much as possible (easier said than done I know :/)

Some doctors have you start progesterone 3dpo and others as soon as you get a positive test. They have pills you can take orally or suppositories you take vaginally. I hope that's all you need to get your BFP!

My doctor puts me on progesterone right after I get a BFP. I hope this helps you get your rainbow baby.

I am on it right now. I am using an oil that I apply to my skin. I am hoping it will help me get pregnant though, I have yet to get pregnant since my reversal.
I say give it a try and it might help. I am sorry for your loss.
