So last Thursday the dr told me to expect to miscarry soon as my (13dpo of 15 and 16dpo of 20) betas were not at all promising. Fast forward past the non stop crying spell.... So my 20dpo was 104. I went in for another beta today....and having to wait 48 hours to get results....
I know these numbers are not good, but I just want the loss to be over.... It feels like such a dark cloud hanging over me. I just don't know what to do with myself. I just want to know when......

I'm so sorry you are going through this!
The fact that they are rising could be good. There are women who have had very low slow rising hcg levels that have successful pregnancies.
Just make sure they are monitoring you very closely, it can also be a sign of ectopic.
48 hours is a long time to wait for a simple blood test result! Can they not send you directly to a lab?
Really hope that this ends up being a slow starter that you can tease when they are older for giving you such a scare.
Big Hugs! No matter what I hope you get some answers soon.

So honestly your first set of betas is kind of scary, but 20 to 104 is beautiful. Don't count yourself out yet. Your doubling time with 20-104 is 40.36 hours, and 31-72 hours is within normal limits for this stage of a pregnancy. Numbers like that can indicate an ectopic, like Sam said, but they can also indicate a "vanishing twin." It's possible there were two, and they were both going up, and then the second disappeared for any one of several different reasons. I am a super realist, and pretty pessimistic, but I wanted to tell you that 20 to 104 in four days is actually a good number. I'm sorry you have to wait SO long for the results, but this next set of numbers should be very telling.

I agree with the ladies. That is promising for numbers and wait to see what your next number is. I know that mine did not rise the way they should and it took 2 weeks for me to m/c so I understand fully. PM me if you need to talk. HUGS
