Hey,
AF showed today right when I thought. I got my RE office and scheduled my day 3 bloodwork and ultra sound (this is to make sure the uterus and the parts that works together to progress the cycle up to O time). This is happening on this Sunday morning (8/7/11) at 8.45am in an office not totally close to home but about 40 min away so that is ok. DH will go with me on the appt. The next appointment (8/15/11) is for my HSG (Hetero salpingo gram) which is like an xray with clear fluid to check the inside shape and flow in the fallopian tubes etc) to determine if what i was diagnosed with before (bicornate uterus) or if it is a septum (a peice of muscle tissue) that looks like the uterus is not fused properly. If it is the latter than this can be surgically removed then I will have a great looking triangular shaped uterus.
The last appt for the month is Aug 29 and that is my annual check up with my regular obgyn doc and get a pap smear done.

All is moving forward and I will keep you posted on my appointments and how they went after I have them done.

I am sorry to hear AF found you but it sounds like you have a good plan in place. I hope you get your BFP soon.

How I see it is not bad that AF showed because then I know that I will get the diagnosis and treatment I need to make the best possible environment for the future pg and baby in the end. I was concerned for a little bit if I would get pg without all these tests if I would end up the same way with a 2nd trimester loss that I had to deliver. I do not want to go through that again if I can choose.
Thanks I am happy that I have a dr that cares as much as me and DH for us to get a baby in the end of this process.

Sounds like you've got a great doctor. I'm hoping that she can help you get your rainbow baby. Good luck at your appointment on Sunday.

I absolutely love the way you are looking at it. Sometimes it's easy to lose sight and you seem to be on the right path to getting your rainbow baby. Best of luck with the testing and keep us posted!

Lovisa we're cycle buddies I started today as well.

I've been where you are with the cycle monitoring, testing, HSG... I hope that the results of your HSG are what you're hoping for and can be surgically fixed! If you have any questions about it PM me or ask me here. Had mine last June, got devastating news, to me anyway, but it was good to know!

Thank you! Celena, thank you for thinking of me and what I will go through. I have done an HSG back in April 2009 so I know how that works. Now it is just to determine if the first diagnosis still stands. I will PM if I have any questions.
