Has anyone read this book? My therapist recommended this for my "homework." I read the reviews it seems to be highly suggested! Just wondering if anyone has read it and your thoughts? Kind of pricey but worth it for some self healing!

I have nopt read it but if your therapist recommended it I would actually either buy it or see if it is available in the library if you do not have the funds to buy the book. Here are are few sites where you can get the book cheaper: at barnes and noble
BARNES & NOBLE | a silent sorrow or amazon Amazon.com: A Silent Sorrow: Pregnancy Loss (9780440507130): Ingrid Kohn: Books

I read empty cradle broken heart and that helped me a bit on the way.

I did buy it off of Amazon but was just wondering if anyone had any personal reviews of the book. Thanks though!

That looks like a good book. I might have to get it. Another that you might find very comforting is Amazon.com: Heaven is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back (9780849946158): Todd Burpo, Lynn Vincent: Books. I don't know if you believe in God, but if you do, this one is a super read!

luv-So funny you mention that book! When I was waiting for my script for the Misoprostol I was wandering around the book section of Meijer thinking I should get something to take my mind off of things. That book jumped out to me and when I started to read it I could see why.

Unfortunately after I got to the part about the "2 sisters" (I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't read it) I was sobbing hysterically and never finished it! I will have to try to pick it up again, but I thought it was pretty amazing!

I'll let everyone know how the silent sorrow book turns out. From the online reviews I hear it's like the "what to expect," after m/c & loss. I'm kind of excited for it to get here!

I sounds like a good book, haven't read it myself. I have several interesting books on loss and a holistic spiritual side of it... chinese herbal, naturopathic and so on sorts. I've yet to really try any of them, but have read of RL women who have had success with some of the dietary changes and herbs.

But nothing directly like that, I'm sure I would be buying more stock in Kleenex too LOL
