I love it too! Tough to pick a favorite character. Lafayette is a favorite because he has the best comebacks, but his storyline isn't very big this year. Also, his boyfriend annoys me.
Pam is pretty hilarious this season.

I haven't watched the show (planning on buying them on DVD) but I have read all the books. Has anyone read the books and watched the show?

I read part of the first book, but I didn't like it. I have a friend who has read the books and she sometimes doesn't like the plot choices they have made.

I've read all the books and I have watched all the shows. The books are way better, and they get better as they go on.
I am a huge Sookie/Eric fan, but on the show they have little chemistry. I am not liking Tara at all this season. I cannot stand her pitifull me attitude. Plus she needs to get over it.
Here is a spoiler though that kind of bothered me (don't read if you do not want to know about the books). Jason did become a were panther in the books, so why they would go with that SL bothers me. Time filler maybe???
I do love Bill a lot more now this season too.

I have read the books and I watch the show on Netflix so I have not seen any of this season. The books are completely different!!! I prefer books because I love to read. But I really like the show as well.
Eric is my favorite. Just something about that bad boy type! Ahahaha!

I'm a True Blood fan! I started reading the first book but then got upset that the tv show didn't follow along and so I stopped reading to spare myself time yelling at the tv. Although I do know that in the books Jason turns into a werepanther. So why he doesn't in the tv show is just weird.
Favorite characters are Hoyt, Lafayette and of course, Sookie/Eric.

It is weird how different they are. I read them first so I have continued reading them but I do yell at the tv and pause it to tell my husband how different it is from the book!

Yes!! I like Alcide (sp?)!! I agree in the book eric and sookie have a ton more chemistry.
I am also reading the books and watching the series, and it really is crazy how different they are from each other. The first book it seemed was dot on and then when I got into the second book it was just like reading two different stories. I'm now on the 4th book and about the same spot the series is on.

I've been wondering the same thing.. I was wondering if maybe they just haven't incorporated it yet, like maybe it'll be some sort of "oh, it doesn't happen until the second full moon" or something like that haha.

It's a toughy who is my favorite character... I just don't know!!!
Bill used to be my fav in season 1 n 2 just because he was so "old school" and somewhat courting Sookie. Eric is wonderful man meat, yummy eye candy when he had the long hair and he still is, but **** he was sexy with that long hair. Pam's has a great sarcastic, sassy, monotone, pissed off but blunt character she reminds me of myself sometimes  and dammit have to agree on that one too Lafayette is one of my favs tho he's so flamboyant, confident, unique and shoots from the hip, his debbie downer sister Tara the terror lol.Jason all dense as a box of rocks!
ewe and renee, he was so freaking creepy
There's all too many... Jessica grew on me and Hoyt, they're a cute dense couple.

I think it's easier to list the characters I don't like: Sam's brother, Lafayette's boyfriend, Tara (this season), Hoyt (this season - too whiny)

I agree with Hoyt being whiny!! Hate it! And even those Jason is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, he sure has a smokin body!!!! Yummy!!
I haven't watched the past few weeks, but the last episode didn't the blonde say to Jason, we will see you at the next full moon? So doesn't that mean he is a were panther?

He does have a smoooooking hot body ;-) so does Eric :-p... but that big, dark yummy werewolf really is the hottest of em all! OMG the biceps and big muscular body!!! LC?
The witch is pissing me off LOL, but she is a good character to evoke emotion like that.
