Hey ladies i got a phone call from the nurse at my obs office. She told me that me and DH have to go see a prenatal gentic counselor. The hospital did some test and something came back. Im so nervous. Im only 23 and dh is only 30 we are both health and have had one normal pregnancy. My apt is wens and i am so scared to find out i just dont have a good feeling.

Has any of you have to go see a pgc?

I have not but I wanted to wish you luck and tell you that sometimes knowledge is helpful in finding out ways to get to the end result.

I know that some RE's/docs send couples to genetic counseling if anything on their tests pop up positive and it could cause issues trying to conceive. It DOES NOT always mean something big or really bad. It could very easily be something simple. But even if it is something bigger, at least you will know your options and how you can handle dealing with whatever it is. I hope you appt goes better than you expect!!

I had preconception genetics counseling in march....just bc we had two m/c. My doctor also did blood clotting panels on me and found out I had three clotting disorders. It def doesnt have to be something huge...could be a simple and easy fix! Good luck and KUP!
