How well does that work for you?

go to the beach and listen to the waves crash on shore.
it is very relaxing, gives me alone time, time to think,reflect...it works for me. I guess not everyone can do this, but if you can....do it often!

I do something sort of similar I often go sit at a lake, pond, creek, whatever I can and it is so soothing for me

What do you do to relieve stress? I knit.
How well does that work for you? I have been knitting for years so I can actually knit without actually looking at what I am doing so it is very relaxing because I don't have to think while doing it.

I've tried so hard to knit but can't seem to get it. I can crochet very easily and quickly though.

What do you do to relieve stress? I crochet a lot when I am stressed or I take a walk out in the woods with my camera and dog
How well does that work for you? It works really well for me.
I would love to learn how to knit but I can't figure it out. When I lived in Florida I used to go to the ocean a lot to relieve stress.

I read. As soon as I open a book I get into the story so much that I forget all my problems.
I tried knitting - it made feel even worse

What do you do to relieve stress? I like to go for a drive and listen to Bon Jovi really loud and sing along.
How well does that work for you? It usually works really well. I just allow myself to get lost in the music and usually I can find a song that reflects the kind of comfort I need.

What do you do to relieve stress? I don't know. I generally try not to get into that state. So, if I am stressed out about something, I work towards trying to eradicate whatever is causing it.
How well does that work for you? It must work well, because I can't think of an answer.

I read, cross stitch or knit. Right now reading is at the forefront. I have a whole pile of good books.
They works great to relax.

Maybe I should start an online course...haha.
I actually learned to knit before I could read. My mom had an illustrated book and I just looked at the pictures and figured it out. I learned to crochet that way also.

I usually will read, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Depends on if I can get my mind off of whatever is stressing me out.

You can sign me up also. I taught myself how to crochet but I can't teach myself how to knit.

LOL I thought I was going to be original with my self taught crochet skills! I too want to knit but do not get it!! I love to crochet though! I love crafting period! My new kick are those adorable baby headbands with flowers. I also love a good movie or tacky reality tv show! It's my guilty pleasure!
